They made my car buying experience both fun and stress-free! After my 1st phone conversation with Jason I knew I would buy my Highlander from him at East. My sister was also considering buying a Prius and I convinced her to look no further than East and their prices and customer service convinced her to buy a new 2016 at East. She made East her 1st and last stop for car buying! I had test driven a Highlander I thought I wanted at a certain West side Toyota dealership in Madison that I won't name, but lets just say claims to be "Smart". I left that west side dealership crying, feeling overwhelmed, stressed and questioning if I would even be able to afford ANY Highlander, much less the Limited! That same day I went online and was directed to East Toyota's website and Jason received my inquiry, called within minutes and immediately made me feel happy, and back on track! We knew we would be treated fairly and that once we had our new vehicle, the service would be outstanding, although I truly cannot say as much about service because we never have a need to bring our vehicles in for service, other than normal maintenance which is always outstanding. I asked to speak with service manager who calmly explained the situation to me and showed true concern for my situation. He offered to contact his district manager and Toyota's warranty department. He advocated on my behalf and was able to bring the cost down substantially for the repair. I will definitely be shopping at Jon Lancaster again in the future and returning my van to their service department. More

Sold me a truck with extended warranty that covers nothing. I purchased a used truck and was sold a extended warranty. Told it would cover MOST major repairs. I asked to cancel and they only will refund 61% because they used the date I purchased not the date they submitted the warranty information. I would never buy another truck at this dealership. More

New Tires not sealed - ALL FOUR In November I had 4 new high quality tires put on my car at this Toyota Dealership Service Center.. Since then I have had problems with maintaining the pressure. At first thought it was the cold, so added more air. Over the past few summer months the pressure in all 4 tires was low ever week. Finally went in to a mechanic and he guessed that they weren't sealed correctly when installed. BINGO that was it according to this dealer when I went back. I have since learned that this situation is very dangerous, it wears out your tires quicker and negatively affects gas mileage, not to mention a huge time waster. Been going to this dealer since I moved to Madison 6 years ago but no longer. More

Nate is easy to work with, Jeff Sommers in financing is phenomenal! Jeff actually helped me find the right used vehicle even though he's a finance manager?! These guys are great. You'll walk in a customer and leave feeling like a friend. I've also purchased vehicles from this dealership in the past when it was John Lancaster Toyota. Diagnostic and Inspection Service Took vehicle in for service last week because I noticed a leak and didnt know where it came from but had a general idea. I told the service adviser that I think one of the leaks is from the head gasket but the other I was not sure. Before I tell them to check it out, I asked the service adviser, Rick, what all do the mechanics look for when doing an inspection. He said they do a thorough inspection. I asked again, but what do they inspect or look for and basically was told again they look at everything. So I say, im about to go to Arizona, so I want to make sure everything is good. Tires, brakes and so forth since the vehicle is hitting a 100k miles shorty. I come back and they said my power steering is bad. I said what about the head gasket? Rick said that there was nothing said about it. I said, well can you put the car on a hoist and I'll show you where i seen the leak. Rick said well our mechanics are well trained and are confident in their diagnostics. I said okay but can you put the car back on the hoist so I can show you where I noticed a leak. He calls mechanic and they get it back on hoist and they acknowledge their is a leak that they didn't see when looking at the vehicle the first time. So now I know where my problems are which is great and is why I came to them as professionals. While walking back to the service desk, seeing that this head gasket leak was missed, I asked Rick did they look over rest of the car and he said yes. I said so the brakes and tires are good too? He said yes! (I definitely didn't want any problems on a long trip from WI to AZ). I go to another dealer and in addition to the 2 leaks, I find out I have been driving on 3 brakes almost two. They show me the rear rotors which are in terrible shape, the rear passenger caliper is broke, the bracket was warped and the rotor was rusted out like it had never been used since the caliper was severely damaged. The driver side rear wasn't as bad but was not working properly either. So the reason for my disappointment is that I paid for a diag test and asked they look the car over for the 100k mile check as I had a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng trip ahead of me and was told that the brakes were good when the brakes were not even looked at. I had a Toyota and came to a toyota dealer because they know best what all to look at since they are specially trained on toyotas. The only reason I went to get car looked at by someone else is because I was getting a bad vibe and wanted to be sure my car was good to go for nice long road trip. Would of been terrible to get outside of Madison and find out I was only driving with front braking power only. More
