My experience with Jon Lancaster Toyota was a little bit different than the average visit. I stopped to see what they had to offer for used vehicles and what they would offer me for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma t different than the average visit. I stopped to see what they had to offer for used vehicles and what they would offer me for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma truck. Billy was the first salesman to approach me and was very honest with the pricing of vehicles and made every attempt to stay within my budget. He also informed me that Toyota had some trouble with the frames rusting out on my make/model of vehicle... something I was unaware of. While I was test driving a used VW, the service department found a hole in the rusted out frame of my Tacoma. They were concerned to the point that they put me in a loaner car while I made my decisions. Many employees came to talk with me during my visit to continue expressing their concern and they put me in touch with Toyota directly to remedy the situation. My overall experience in dealing with Billy was nothing short of awesome. My stay at the dealership was longer than expected and he made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I would like to recommend him to everyone reading this review. More

Immediately following a horrible experience I had at a GMC dealership in my home town, I called this dealership on a pre-owned Rav4 I saw on their Internet listings. Landon Frenz answered my inquiry and looked up the vehicle for me to be sure it was still avaialable before I came down (I live 40 miles away). He was very helpful, without being at all pushy, so I made the trip down. Landon made me welcome when arrived and we spent time looking at several Rav4's in my price range. I test drove all of them before the day was done, some more than once. Landon was very patient and answered all of my questions and actually encouraged me to take the time I needed. There was no pressure to buy one over the other, or to try to move me to a different vehicle with a larger price tag. Very much appreciated that! When I was ready to proceed, he and the team at the dealership made the offer/acceptance process clean and fair. There was no pressure, no tag team tactics, nothing of the behavior I experienced at the other dealership. I was satisfied with the price I got for my trade-in, and I feel I received a very good vehicle at a good price in return. Landon went the extra mile to be sure my Rav4 was ready to deliver to me, even making sure it had all the floormats and ordering a small cover piece that was missing in the cargo area. All without me having to ask or being made to feel like it was a pre-owned vehicle, so shouldn't expect it. Thank you, to Landon and all of the staff at Jon Lancaster Toyota. Jon Lancaster provided a great experience for us. We purchased a new Toyota RAV 4 and felt that we were not being pressured into the sale. Billy sat down with us and listened to what we we were looking for in a vehicle, the price & financing. He a was NOT pushy and let us have our space. We came to an agreement very easily on my trade-in and the price of the new car. We had a considerable amount to put down on the new car and wanted the 1.9% financing. We knew that my credit history wasn't great, but we knew that we were paying for half the car upfront. Still a tough task to pull off. Matt pulled through for us. He worked hard and we spent a few hours waiting for the credit to be approved at 1.9%. Matt made it happen! I couldn't have gotten this car without the teamwork of Billy and Matt!!! The Dealership was very clean, the vehicles they offered seemed to be well maintained, and Billy Collier, my sales person made buying a vehic great. The minute I walked in the door, I was greeted by Billy. He provided a great deal of information on the Dealership, their inventory, and their policies. Additionally, Billy had a friendly approach that was not over the top and spoke to me on a personal level. I would highly recommend Jon Lancaster Toyota of Madison and Billy Collier for anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. This Dealership definitely does not sell cars in the traditional and extremely annoying manner, were salesman or women run you down. Make sure you check their hours, especially if you are driving a good distance to get there! My son and I drove over 100 miles to look at a used vehicle. Arrived late. Walked in and Lynn (never introduced himself)asked us what we wanted. When I told him we were interested in buying a vehicle, he responded that they close a 6:00 p.m., and there hours are posted on the internet. My son told him we just drove a long distance to buy a used Tacoma and he responded, "well this is going to be quick, I have dinner reservations". Very short, disgruntled, responses. I have bought many cars over the years and I have NEVER been so insulted. I can only assume that this dealership is raking in the coin (in this terrible economy) to the point that they have no problem offending a cash customer. After driving and looking over the vehicle, and receiving Lynn's offer, I replied that we are very interested in the vehicle and very close in price and asked to negotiate the price. We were told there was no negotiation, not on the vehicle, not on our trade. All I can say is my son and I are so very sorry we inconvenienced you so much, and rest assured, we will never do it again! More
All of the people there were extremely friendly and they seemed to care about your well being not just making the sale.
