Perhaps I was just not reading carefully enough, but your web iisting should probably highlight the free, IMMEDIATE car fax report available from the web page. I had misinterpreted that, thinking a buyer had to come in to request the carfax report. I can say that the carfax service history on two similar vehicles I looked at, (once I got it) did influence which of the two I ultimately purchased. More

We also had a great experience with the finance gent, John Winecke - another real pro. We felt these guys were trustworthy; there's nothing more important to us. Rudy was really great in helping us find a car on lot that had the features we want and a color we liked. The only thing I was disappointed with was that we couldn't complete the transaction on the same day (Saturday), and we had to come back on Monday, because we were trying to get the student discount. I highly recommend Jon Lancaster and especially Shawn. He is an ace. I knew the exact car I wanted and exactly which options I wanted and had been looking a long time and was ready to buy and did not wan He is an ace. I was in contact with a few other Toyota dealerships online as well and although another dealer had a better price, they were not as responsive or as helpful as Shawn. As a matter of fact, Shawn found the exact car I wanted and brought it to Jon Lancaster without me even asking. The other dealer would not bring the car in unless I bought it, basically sight unseen, and they said I would be obligated once it was on the lot. Shawn said I was not obligated and if I did not like the car, no worries. He is very smart though because he knew I would love the car! And I did!! It was everything I had hoped for and more. I feel that Shawn was pretty fair in the whole deal and trade-in and he was very helpful to streamline the financing with Matt, the finance manager, too so most everything was ready once I needed to sign the papers. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and happy. It doesn't hurt that he has a good sense of humor and lots of patience and was able to answer my endless questions. Shawn has been in contact a few times after the sale as well to make sure I was able to operate all the features and that everything was going well. And it is, I love my car! As for the dealership, I had been in another Toyota dealership in Madison several times and was treated very differently. I had been in their showroom at times for 45 minutes or more with not ONE salesperson approaching me. And I got the feeling it was because I was a woman and had no man with me. At Jon Lancaster, every time I came in that showroom, I was immediately greeted and asked how I could be helped. I never felt slighted as a woman and both Shawn and Matt made sure I was treated fairly and with respect. I will never go to the other dealer again. I will, however, return to Jon Lancaster and recommend this dealer and Shawn very highly! More
I requested an internet quote through Consumer Reports on the Venza I was interested in. Jon Lancaster was 300 miles away and I originally only considered them because of the price they quoted. I was skeptical of the internet and only dealing by phone and email with a dealership and a person I had never seen. The reason I actually bought was because of all the work Shawn did to get me the car I wanted and the confidence I developed in him. I did not meet him in person until I picked up the car. When I picked up the Venza at the dealership everything went smoothly. He exceeded my expectations in the amount of time he spent with me to show me the features of the Venza and how they worked. He also called me about 4-5 hours into my drive home to check on my satisfaction. I would recommend Shawn Settleburg and the Jon Lancaster dealership. More
Personnel were very helpful and furnished me with brochures for the vehicle I was interested in.
