Landon is a great assest to Jon Lancaster. Eventhough he is in used car sales, he took the time to help us with the purchase of our new Corolla when the other sales people were a no show for over 45 minutes is in used car sales, he took the time to help us with the purchase of our new Corolla when the other sales people were a no show for over 45 minutes. Landon answered my numerous questions and patiently explained all the features of my new car. This has to be one of the best sales experiences I have had. From the time Landon helped us until the time we drove off the lot it took us less than 2 hrs including financing. The finance guy, made purchasing my new Corolla a cake walk. I think financing was already in place before we sat down to fill out the paperwork. If I could rate the service on Landon alone--you would have received 5 (great) on all of the above criteria. I would certainly recommend Jon Lancaster in the future and especially Landon. More
Cust Serv and Qual are n/a as I was not there for service. Lynn and Matt were very friendly, the overall experience was fine and the price was good. After meeting David and test driving a 2011 Camry I decided to make the change. Both David and John went above and beyond to help me make a deal for the new car. I had purchased a new Toyota Corolla 2 years ago and received excellent service from Shawn. This year, I was in need of a good used Toyota 4x4 truck. I contacted Shawn and gave him my parameters on th received excellent service from Shawn. This year, I was in need of a good used Toyota 4x4 truck. I contacted Shawn and gave him my parameters on the vehicle. Unlike most auto sales persons, Shawn was up front and honest with me. He told me I would not be able to purchase a used Toyota 4x4 with low mileage that fit within my budget. He did, however, tell me he would keep an eye open for a good used 4x4 truck. A month or so later, Shawn emailed me and said he had just taken a used truck in trade for a new vehicle. The truck fit my parameters to a "T". It wasn't a Toyota but Shawn suggested I consider purchasing this vehicle and save my money until I could afford the Toyota pick-up that I wanted. He emailed me pics of the truck - interior and exterior. I fell in love with it! My husband and I picked up the truck that week-end. It was all that Shawn said it was and more...pics just don't do a vehicle justice. The truck was immaculate - washed both inside and out. An oil change and general maintenance check was given. The truck drives great! The purchase transaction was smooth as silk. The most impressive part of this transaction was Shawn suggesting I purchase what I could afford now, save my money, and purchase the new truck I want in the future. How awesome is that!!! Most car salespersons push a new vehicle no matter what a person's budget can handle. I respect the way Shawn handled this and will continue to purchase my vehicles from him. I will definitely refer my friends & family to him should they be in the market for a vehicle, new or used. My husband, on the other hand, was impressed when Jon Lancaster Toyota sent an employee to the store to get treats for our dog, whom we brought with us. That shows customer dedication...even if you're a dog. More
What a great car buying experience! I sold cars years ago, knew what I wanted, how leasing worked, & didn't want a lot of back & forth. Buying over the internet with Shawn made the whole process EXCEEDIN ago, knew what I wanted, how leasing worked, & didn't want a lot of back & forth. Buying over the internet with Shawn made the whole process EXCEEDINGLY EASY. Just one fair monthly lease payment was given, & therefore accepted. $20 less monthly than offered by my local dealership, thereby saving me about $720 over 3 years. I would drive 100 miles for a $720 savings any day! I was emailed window stickers, pricing, & photos of my new vehicle. Felt like I was right there in the dealership:) When we arrived at the dealership, the car was ready to go. Shawn was prepared for delivery. Jon, in financing, was ready with all of the paperwork. It was so refreshing to be made to feel like my time was valuable not only to me, but to the employees of this dealership. Nate was wonderful to work with. He answered all the questions that we had. Nate made us very comfortable at the dealership. Had driven up to this dealer to see an exterior/interior combo. Just looking,not buying! When we arrived, the SUV was in the parking lot washed and ready for inspection!!! We were greeted warmly by Tashi and took a test drive. We likied the SUV and talked through a purchase package. We met George in this process.Another positive experience! After some back and forth on price, etc. we bought it. We then met with Chris on the purchase paperwork and headed back home. Great people,service and experience!!! Also, the follow-up and follow-through have been great!!! We will go back to see about our next purchase in the future. More
We bought a used Toyota RAV4 from Jon Lancaster at the end of December 2010. We went to the dealership 2 times and worked with Jesse both times. Our third time at the dealership we made an offer. Our initial offer was declined and we ended up increasing our offer and getting the car. The next day after we bought the car, oil was leaking out. My husband called the service department in the morning but they weren't able to get him in until mid-afternoon. He was out doing errands and drove by Smart Motors, where they looked at the car within 10 minutes and fixed the problem (oil cap was not screwed on tight enough after oil change). The service manager at JL called us back and apologized for the error. We were also owed a refund in the price Jesse gave us vs. the actual cost due to a tax miscalculation. Since we wrote out a cashier's check, we were told a check for the difference would be sent in the mail. At the end of January, I talked with Jesse via phone and asked him to check the status of it. No response. Three days later, I followed up by email. No response. I ended up talking to the used sales manager who followed up and sent the check. Not hearing at all back from Jesse made us feel he was only interested in making the sale and not about taking care of the customer. During the car-buying process, he would say that he spent all this time with us and came in on his day off (which we never asked him to) to guilt us. I feel he's the typical used car salesman who will use whatever he can to make the sale and then ditch you when that is done. We will be taking our service and future car-buying to Smart Motors, where our experience with their customer service was exceptional. More
