Ram purchase, poor support. I purchased a Ram from this dealership a week ago and had a wonderful sales experience where the sales and finance staff went above and beyond to help I purchased a Ram from this dealership a week ago and had a wonderful sales experience where the sales and finance staff went above and beyond to help make the deal a reality. However, since then, I have had difficulty with the tags and problems with a warranty issue where the service manager met with me on the showroom floor and told me to take the car to Dodge or wait indefinitely for him to fix it. Apparently, he meant it since he kept the truck on the lot for 8 hours without performing any work, leaving me without a car as I try to figure out how to get to work tomorrow. Still, there is no estimate on the repair and no effort by Eastern to contact me about the situation. Second, I have military service tags which can be transferred from my trade to the new truck. After being told that the tags cannot he transferred, Eastern later said they could but that they needed to check. Having paid tax & title, the company told me that they do not know how much the title fee would be and that I could pay more than he truck registration even though I previously paid for the tags and paid a new tag fee at sale. I loved the sale team but the experience is now frustrating. Keep in mind that, right now, I don’t have the truck and the warranty which the service manager attempted to refuse is running. Get it fixed. More
