Poor customer service....Read on June 18th, 2018 Eastgate Shadeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 500 North Shadeland Ave Indianapolis, IN 46219 Dear Sir/Ma’am, I want to expres June 18th, 2018 Eastgate Shadeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 500 North Shadeland Ave Indianapolis, IN 46219 Dear Sir/Ma’am, I want to express my disappointment and displeasure regarding East Shadeland, Dodge, Chrysler and Mopars decision not to honor the two remaining oil changes I have purchased due to my vehicle being totaled during a hit and run accident. On December 6, 2017, I purchased a 3 oil change package thru Eastgate Shadeland for our 2009 Dodge Caravan (VIN #2D8HN54159R520476) which we purchased from Button Chrysler in Kokomo, IN February 22, 2014. On December 29, 2017, my wife was involved in a hit and run accident which resulted in the vehicle being a total loss (IMPD CAD# I173630535). On January 24th, 2018, we purchased a replacement vehicle, a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country (VIN #2A8HR54P78R657563) which was purchased from Dellen Automotive in Greenfield, IN. On June 2nd, 2018 at 11:28am, I called Eastgate Shadeland to set up an oil change for the 2008 Chrysler utilizing the two remaining oil changes that I had purchased on December 6th2017. I spoke with Norm who stated that Eastgate Shadeland would not honor the two remaining oil changes due to the fact that the oil changes are VIN/vehicle specific. I then asked Norm if I could be reimbursed for the remaining oil changes. I was told no. I then asked Norm who I could speak with regarding this decision. I felt I was being victimized all over again, once by the hit and run driver and now being victimized by Eastgate Shadeland for not honoring the purchase of the oil changes. Not to mention betrayal since all of my oil changes have been completed by Eastgate Shadeland since June 25, 2014. On June 2nd, 2018 at 11:33 am, I spoke with Armani at Chrysler Financial who then provided me the telephone number for Mopar. On June 2nd, 2018 at 1148am, I spoke with Ophelia with Mopar. Ophelia collected the VIN from the totaled vehicle and VIN from the new vehicle. Ophelia stated that she could submit a hardship request, since the vehicle was totaled, in order to resolve this issue. Ophelia stated that the claim would have to be approved and would take 1-2 weeks. On June 18th, 2018 at 12:53am, I called Ophelia at Mopar since I had not received a response, either written, electronic or voice. Ophelia stated that the claim had been denied due to the fact that it was not within 4 years or 48,000 miles. I advised her it was an oil change and should not matter. Again, Ophelia, who was pleasant, stated that the claim was denied. I advised her again, I am being victimized twice, once by the Shadeland/Mopar/Chrysler/Dodge and the hit and run driver. I stated I had been a loyal customer for 4 years obtaining my oil changes thru Eastgate Shadeland. I then asked Ophelia if she would send me a copy of the claim denial in writing. She stated no. I am asking for Eastgate Shadeland/Chrysler/Mopar to honor the remaining purchased oil changes or reimbursement for the remaining oil changes. Sincerely, Mr/Ms Brinker Tx: 532-7537 More

Avoid this place like the plague. Horrible service department. Takes forever to get work done. Doesn't do the work right. Spent thousands to have them leave me with a car in worse shape than when I department. Takes forever to get work done. Doesn't do the work right. Spent thousands to have them leave me with a car in worse shape than when I took it in. Not only did they not properly do the repairs and used bad parts but they actually managed to damage my engine and electronics in the process. When you go back to have it fixed they ignore you, service manager won't call you back, horrible people. They're nothing but thieves. There's a reason people call dealerships stealerships. I had to find out first hand. Don't be a victim like me. Pick a local repair shop run by mechanics, not these guys. This was the most costly mistake I've made in a long time. I had to spend yet more money getting it fixed properly by a small local shop who did it right. Cost me ~$1,500 to fix what they didn't do right and to repair what they broke. Including an airbag sensor which the repair shop told me could have caused it to NOT deploy if I was in an accident. It's nice to know the dealership values my life so little. More

We have been going to this dealership since we purchased our first minivan and that was three minivans, two Jeeps, and one used car ago. I have found the Service Department to be very friendly and helpful. our first minivan and that was three minivans, two Jeeps, and one used car ago. I have found the Service Department to be very friendly and helpful. I have never felt that the Service Department was just trying to get me to do something on our vehicles just to get our money, but to make sure that our vehicles were in good running order and safe. As I have told them I can purchase a new car from several different dealerships, but I go to them for the Service Department and for our salesman who seems like family. More
Rodney was great! Very friendly & knowledgable & most of all helpful. I live about 50 miles away from where I work, so when the tire pressuer light came on in my fairly new 2010 Sebring, I really d most of all helpful. I live about 50 miles away from where I work, so when the tire pressuer light came on in my fairly new 2010 Sebring, I really didnt want to drive 50 miles at 70 miles an hour wondering if there was really something wrong with the tires, or if was just the cold weather. I bought the car a Goodwin Brothers in New Castle, but EastGate is the closest dealership to where I work, so I stopped in and explained my situation and Rodney had me pull right in the edxpress lane area and started checking the air in my tires. All they needed was some air. We had a nice discussion about how the tire pressure sensors work, and the best way to make sure the pressure was right. My older car a 2001 Dodge Neon, did not have tire pressure sensors, so I just checked the air with a pressure gague( the old fashion way) Rodney suggested that this pratice would work just as well on the new car. We also discussed the change oil light, which has not came on in 6k miles, makes me a little nervous, since i was taught to change the oil every 3 k mils ( old fashion I know). Rodney suggested that if I felt better having the oil changed at 3k thats what I should do. the 3k oil change seemed to work on the Neon it ONLY has 260K miles on it, when Rodney heard this, he said it seemed like i knew what I was doing when it came to my car maintance. Rodney is great! East Gate needs to hang on to him, he is a great asset ! Thanks again Rodney for the air in my tires, and great discussion on car care. Pam Carlon 765/524/2995 2010 White Sebrin More
I took my 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland in for service (I go nowhere else) and decided to look at a new Jeep. Brandon worked with me and we arrived at a deal and two days later, I am the proud owner of a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland and I LOVE IT! Although it is higher, wider, and longer than my 2002, the improvements in this model year is astounding. There are more "bells and whistles" on it, which has become a new learning curve, but I am sure that when I take time to read about all of the features, I will become comfortable once again. This is my 3rd Grand Cherokee all of which have been purchased from Eastgate Chrysler, and I highly recommend this dealership to friends and acquaintances alike. They have taken care of my Jeeps since purchasing my first one in 1997. I always feel like I am one of the Eastgate family. The service department is beyond compare and I never feel "snookered" when having work performed. They are honest and treat me as if I was their mother. Brandon was such a joy to work with during the purchase of this new Jeep. He is knowledgeable about all of the features and walked me through the basics. I would easily recommend him to anyone wanting a new vehicle. It was a fun experience. More
