It was not an intimidating experience, as most are. I have already recommended this dealership and "Big Chris" to others. Most people I know have never heard of such a process that driverselect offers. The process doesn't take 5 or more hours, it took only took about 3 and a half hours, maybe less. Having never purchased a car new or used before, and knowing that I'm not one for the whole haggling step I would have to go through at a traditional dealer, I was hoping DriversSelect would be true to their claim of offering a simple, primarily from home process. Such was the case and I am very relieved to say so. I worked with Pedro through a combination of email, phone calls, and text messages. He understood my position as a new buyer and explained everything in detail. He was more helpful and pressure-free than I had hoped which meant a lot to me. It's that which sold me more than anything the car had. I can read features and understand what the car does and doesn't have. But knowing Pedro wasn't looking to pressure me into anything I wasn't interested in sealed the deal so a big hats-off to him. I would describe DriversSelect best as; you know what you're going to get. I knew the price of the car and my financing terms before I ever visited the dealership and nothing changed a bit when I got there. And once at the dealership, the whole process wasn't even a couple of hours before I was driving home with a new car. After doing extensive research I found Driversselect to have the best prices available and well below all other dealerships for comparable vehicles. Once I contacted the dealership, via email, and let them know the vehicle I had selected from their website (which is a excellent experience all unto itself) and requested more information I was contacted by ‘Big Chris’ Scheu (love ya man!) and it was seamless from that point on. I drove up from Houston and test drove the vehicle then signed the paperwork then drove it back to Houston. There was no pressure from start to finish to purchase a vehicle or any add on options such as ‘extended warranty’, GAP, ding insurance, etc. although it was presented. I knew the drive out price and monthly payments before I left home. My wife & I were at the dealership for less than 2 hours of which most of that time was due to me looking at another vehicle (Chris wanted me to be certain & happy with my new vehicle). I will be purchasing my daughters graduation gift from them shortly then my replacement vehicle after that, in other words I highly recommend Driversselect and especially ‘Big Chris’ for the best car buying experience ever!
