Was seeking solution for my new HR-V with only 3800 mi. for A/C that cools to only 50 degrees at idle per two thermometers in the center vent - not enough to keep cabin cool when 95+ outside. Advisor didn't even know what Honda specs for it were. Said it sounded cool to him, could not find specs. I told him my brother's '20 goes to 40 degrees, but mine only gets that cold at 1800+ RPMs. I suggested he call a technician and ask. Said to check it they'd charge me to diagnose if found to be within specs. It was a catch 22. For a new car? Wrong. Called American Honda that responded back saying there's no charge to find out the problem. I wouldn't take my car back there for a flat tire or buy another Honda. I found the service incompetent and uncaring. More
