I am highly disappointed with the recent service received. It took three weeks for me to get an update on what was wrong with the car. Finally, I was told the motor in my Kia Optima had to be repl received. It took three weeks for me to get an update on what was wrong with the car. Finally, I was told the motor in my Kia Optima had to be replaced and it was covered under warranty. Great! I pick the car up and park it in the garage because I've been driving my truck. I drive the car to run some errands and notice the brake light indicator is on. I got to Auto Zone and asked them where the brake fluid container is located. The person helping goes to open the hood, I see a scratch that wasn't there when I took it to the dealership, the hood won't stay up because the hydraulic shaft is no longer functioning, the oil dip stick is missing, and there is not a drop of brake fluid in the car. All of which was fine before going in for service. I take the car back up to the dealership and tell them all of this. I just wanted an apology for scratching the car without telling me when I picked it up, a dipstick, and a solution to get the hood to stay up. Instead, I got, you've had the car for 14 days, we can't say we're responsible, but we did put a dipstick back in the car. It was 11 days sir (dropped it off on Nov 16 and picked it up on Dec 18th). I'm thoroughly frustrated that they wouldn't give me a simple apology for bad customer service. That's all I wanted was an acknowledgment that the service could have been better and a xxxx dipstick. If I needed to pay for the hood hydraulic kit, cool. But don't just dismiss me! If I damage something of yours, I'm going to bring it to your attention and apologize. It's that simple. It's a freaking scratch and things happen. I get it! If your mechanic left the dipstick out and didn't check the fluids, what else didn't he do? Is there a bolt missing in the motor? Will it fall out while I'm driving one day? At this point, I have no confidence in this service department and will never bring my vehicle back for service. I had no problem letting them know that their service and my experience was just plain xxxxty. Yep, my words exactly! More
Glad to see some changes have been made. My service tech (Darian) was awesome. Several months back I had an appointment for service and when I arrived on time, the service manager told me it was going to be a 4+ hour wait!!! Then he proceeded to be extremely rude to me and made me cry. Needless to say I did not get my vehicle serviced that day. Ended going an oil change place instead. More
Our oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection was quick and thorough. The paperwork were given at check-out explained everything that was done very clearly. was quick and thorough. The paperwork were given at check-out explained everything that was done very clearly. More
Their service department is absolutely dreadful and I suggest avoiding at all costs. Most recently (12/18/23), my wife took her car in with 4 different warning lights, one of which indicates to take suggest avoiding at all costs. Most recently (12/18/23), my wife took her car in with 4 different warning lights, one of which indicates to take the car in immediately for service. Kia Service evaluated the car, returning it to my wife within 1 hour saying: "We only found one engine code and do not know what it is, you can look it up on your own in Google". It took me about 4 seconds of research to determine the code had nothing to do with the warning lights on her dashboard. Just terrible!! More
