Eddy's Toyota of Wichita responded

On 5/16/13 Customer- Sean Amore brought in her 2003 Toyota Matrix in for an oil change and two recalls to be performed. Due to our systems being down we were unable to do the necessary research to find both recalls. The one recall we did address was based off of the literature the customer provided at the time of appointment. I was notified by Lance, our technician, that it would not be beneficial to change the oil on Ms Amore’s vehicle due to the fact that the motor was 4 quarts low on oil and there was Engine noise. Our dealership did not charge the customer for repairs to broken tag bolts. The customer was only charged for diagnoses for the engine noise which she agreed to pay. She agreed with the dealership that an oil change should not be done due to the circumstances with the engine noise. Unfortunately there has been many changes to our staff to better improve our customer experience needs which is why there has been a delay in response. We have tried to make these changes as smooth as possible and want to stress the importance of our customers experience with every interaction we have. Dave, I appreciate a response, however I have no idea who this response is directed to. My name is not Sean Amore, nor would I ever let my oil be 4 quarts low! Can you please clarify who this response is directed to? I'm still awaiting a response to my poor service at Eddy's Toyota. Nobody will return my calls. It's a shame if I have to go about getting a response this way rather than getting a call back from you or the customer service rep.

I apologize for the confusion. We attempted to pull our recrods to determine what might have went wrong in this situation. Unfortunately we don't have much customer information in these situations which is why we have provided OUR contact information. I understand you worked with a former employee in the past when sharring your disatisfaction. That person however, is no longer with us primarly for this reason. We want to make sure that we are going above and beyond when fixing these issues and making sure to do our best to prevent them.
