This is the second vehicle I've purchased From Eddy's Toyota. The 1st 24 years ago '87 Camry and now an '11 Highlander. The old "sales" methodology kept me away for years. Salesmen of "yesteryear" were good at "Blowing smoke" arrogantly at customers and were a big turn off. Today, when I've been given the facts that apply, confirm my own research, They gave the best price, and I make an informed decision. A fair price, without hours of haggling goes a long way, that's what Mark Smith gave me. I decide when to buy in or keep what I'm driving. Generally, Toyota makes very reliable vehicles, maintenance expenses for the long haul provide good return on the investment in per mile costs. The replacement parts are plentiful and economical from the dealership or aftermarket. Eddy's service department is well trained to get a job done quick and competitively priced. My wife hated the idea of going to a dealership , but now, she's refined herself into enjoying the pampering for service or car washes. (You have her hooked!) Thanks Mark for the great experience. Barbara (Sales) is a WONDERFUL person with a TON of knowledge pertaining to her job. If we ask her something she doesn't know... she will always find us the answer in a timely manner. I would recommend the dealership as far as Troy Werts is concerned. He was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time getting my financing through. He went way over the top to work for a great outcome. However, I was NOT impressed with Jared Martin or some of the "rules" that he told me that the dealership had. I realize that my Toyota was old and had a lot of miles on it, but at a trade in of $300, they got a great deal. It was still listed in Kelly Blue Book for $1800. I know because I looked it up before we left. Another thing that really upset me was I just purchased a $13,000 vehicle which was sitting on EMPTY. The Toyota I just gave them was on FULL. I had almost 100 miles to go to get home. When I asked about getting some fuel, I got 1/4 of a tank. Really? Another thing about Jared is that when he helped to take the tag off the Toyota, he got his hands dirty which he complained about, alot. Well duh, when you live in the sticks surrounded by nothing but fields, there tends to be dirt. He was not impressive to me and I was really glad to get away from him. More
