Great Customer Experience! We keep our 2001 Ford Wind Star(145k mikes) at our second home in Tampa. As the original owners we've always had it serviced by Ford. There was an old recall that we never did since we still live and work full time in NY, and brought it to Elder While in Tampa for a week vacation. While we were there we wanted to have the van looked over and do any other work within reason to keep it safely on the road. Chris understood the situation, and gave us a loaner vehicle. We had all recommended work performed (2 recalls, fuel system treatment and front end alignment) at a reasonable price and were in constant communication throughout. I was impressed by the checklist used to verify everything else was working properly, and especially the customer focus by Chris and the entire staff at Elder. . More
No communication. Car worst than initially brought In Brought my car in on Friday for parts that were recalled. Also An inspection was to occur and the rep would follow up that afternoon to discuss any Brought my car in on Friday for parts that were recalled. Also An inspection was to occur and the rep would follow up that afternoon to discuss any inspection results as well when to pick my car up. I received no call and have concerns that my car was not inpected since there was no suggestions for fixes. Especially since Past inspections showed problems that I never fixed. So either it was skipped or there was nothing wrong all the previous inspections which were fraudulent as there were really no imporatnt problems but yet ford suggested I spend money to fix. Not a good look as it appears ford reps are more concerned with a commission than the customer. On top of that my keyless entry now doesn't work as a result from whatever fixes that occurred during the recall update. Now I need to take off work off once again to bring my car back to have restored back to how I brought it there. Honestly, I will not be utilizing elder ford in the near future unless they can some how compensate me for lost wages or time. I'm still waiting for a call back to handle my keyless code entry. More
It's was easy and painless. I usually have a hard time at dealerships because they make me wait around and are really slow. My experience at elder Ford was good because they were fast and offered me an uber ride home while they took care of my car. The price for what they did was fair, and not upmarket. I was surprised to see that a dealership can be both fast and good. Thank you! More
