Julia, I'm sorry there was an issue with your daughters purchase. It seems there were some discrepancies in the proof of income and the bank needed some additional information. There is not. She and I both were harassed daily, and when proof was brought in that was requested, we were told that's all she'd need. The next day, the harassment for something else would start. This lasted over a month! When she brought the car back, the following day we both got calls to bring the car back. When we explained it was brought back the night before, and keys handed to a salesman, we were just told that "no one told me". The only reason she got her downpayment back was because I raised enough of a commotion to have it done. Please note: I was nowhere on her contract, yet MY bank statements were demanded! When I didnt agree to turn them over, I was told she would have to bring the car back in. This whole ordeal was wishy washy from the start, and caused both she and I so much stress in an emotional time for her. The daily harassment, bullying, demands, and rudeness of your staff member Johanna was unacceptable. How would you propose to make this right? Because honestly, you dont know just how big of an impact this had on my daughter, and I have no clue how to make it "right". To you, it was just a car sale. To her, it was freedom from an abusive boyfriend. That freedom is now gone.

Julia, I checked with our managers on this deal and we certainly didn't mean to "bully" you or anyone else. The Finance company we got your daughter approved through just needed the most recent paycheck stub form your daughter. They also requested your bank statement because they wanted to verify the payment since she works for family. The finance company is loaning a lot of money and they want to double check income in situations like this. Some of the bad apples have ruined it for the good apples. I apologize for that. If we could have just got those last 2 items, your daughter would still have the car. I understand that may have been an inconvenience, but unfortunately there was no way around it. Our Sales Manager also actually drove to San Antonio to get some documents re-signed by your daughter. I understand we made some mistakes in this deal and I apologize for that. But the truth is we strive to make sure everyone has a great experience and our reputation is very important to us. So it really is more than just a car sale to us. Thanks, Scott

Julia, Sorry for the issue with your purchase. As we communicated to your daughter, we had her approved, the finance company was just requesting an additional paystub and a bank statement. Since your daughter works for you, they wanted to verify that the check stubs your daughter provided were legitimate. There is a lot of fraud out there right now and the Finance company wanted verification. I guess the bad apples ruin it for the good apples. I'm sorry that they required this, but when you refused to provide it, the finance company saw that as a red flag and refused to fund the loan. We certainly didn't mean to harass you, but we were confused by the unwillingness to provide this. In any case, I am sorry we could not help you get in a nicer, newer vehicle. Just for the record, it appears we did return your down payment and I am not aware of any cases against us by the Attorney General. As of this writing, we have never been contacted by the Attorney General for any infractions. Thanks, Scott

Yes, Scott, my daughter works for me. We provided check stubs when asked, signed paperwork 3 times, provided a letter of employment when asked, and everything requested to until the point they were requesting MY financial statement. That's where I drew the line. I am her employer and mother, but nowhere was I on the contract. Yes, your company did refund her down payment, but only because I'd raised a stink with Johanna about it, Otherwise, we had already been told she wasn't going to get it back because it was past the 3 days. Yes, your team harassed us, sometimes 7 or 8 calls within the hour, threatening each time. It interfered with our work, and caused extreme stress and worry every day for over a month. Everytime we would provided the next needed document, something else would be needed. The 3rd time my daughter went to sign the paperwork, she was told she could not drive the car back home. (This was about a month into this fiasco). She called me to drive the 1.5 hr to go get her. I got in my car, and drove about 14 miles when the salesman called me back and said she could drive it home. I turned around and started to head home. The salesman calls again and says, no, come get her. I turn back around to head that way again. This went on for 5 times! 5 times I drove from one end of town to the other because of stupidity! They finally let her drive the cat home at 9:30 that night. And to address the Attorney General issue, yes, the clerk told me herself that there were multiple cases against you
