I have to say that buying a new car is not one of my favorite things to do in life, it’s right next to going to a dentist, but our experience at Elgin Hyundai was a very pleasant surprise....Dave Haydge favorite things to do in life, it’s right next to going to a dentist, but our experience at Elgin Hyundai was a very pleasant surprise....Dave Haydge was very patient in taking the time to let us drive 3 different models, and seemed extremely knowledgeable of his product. Ed Howell was equally as professional and knowledgeable of all the programs going on and made it easy for us to settle on what we were looking for. Purchased a used car (2016 Sante Fe) from this dealership in late June, and it came with a faulty motor. I understand that the car is used so I could not expect something in perfect condition. The salesperso in late June, and it came with a faulty motor. I understand that the car is used so I could not expect something in perfect condition. The salesperson pushed this car on me although I was a tad hesitant. Now on month 5, the engine is completely busted and the dealership is unwilling to do anything for me. They told me to replace the engine would cost $9K. Now I am left to make payments on a car that is no longer working. The most horrible customer service I have experienced, very unhelpful staff, and do not care what so ever about the inconvenience, damage, and costs of their actions as long as a sale was made. Manager would not even get on the phone to speak with me. Wish I would have followed my instincts. More

One of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I was blatantly lied to via email about the the price of the vehicle, and when I drove to the dealership, from 1.5 hours away, they would not meet the was blatantly lied to via email about the the price of the vehicle, and when I drove to the dealership, from 1.5 hours away, they would not meet the price, even though they said in an email they would beat it. Then, they tried to bully me in to accepting their higher price. As I was leaving, their GM aggressively confronted me and tried to physically intimidate me.
