The salesman who helped me, Moe Jahanban was the best. Knowledgeable and helpful, made sure I was happy with everything. Will be back after this lease is over! SLEAZY SLEAZY CON ARTISTS *SHUDDER* I went there with my son after they had emailed me a written offer for a Toyota Corolla Hatchback. The offer was OK (slightly below sticker). But when I got there, t my son after they had emailed me a written offer for a Toyota Corolla Hatchback. The offer was OK (slightly below sticker). But when I got there, they insisted that the offer was only good if I purchased $4k worth of other dealer add-ons (theft protection, interior/exterior protection). They used blatant lies (e.g. "we already purchased supplies needed to install the interior/exterior protection") and every dirty trick in the book to get me to pay thousands more than their written offer. For most of the experience I was in disbelief that a seemingly reputable dealer would stoop down to such a low level. I shudder just thinking about it. Please do yourself a favor and go to a different dealer. More
Went to Elgin because they had what I wanted and were willing to sell it for a fair price. In the current market, that can be hard to find. It did take a little haggling to get where I needed, but everyo willing to sell it for a fair price. In the current market, that can be hard to find. I have been doing business with you guys since you were at the old location, not sure how many years but I do know the number of cars. Your service department covered some things under warranty for me that at the old location, not sure how many years but I do know the number of cars. Your service department covered some things under warranty for me that Schaumburg would not do for me and this really changed me to come to your service for everything not just the bigger stuff. Darrel Cesario is my guy when it comes to my cars service. Some people are just really exceptional at wha they do, Darrel is one of those people. I call it the way I see it, good or bad. I know these reviews are read all the way to the top because i received a message back from Bob. Today, consumers are asked to do reviews all the time, it is nice but you never see or hear anything from it so I have stopped doing them. I will do them for Elgin Toyota because I know they are reviewed. Also, The girl that did not wear glasses (in the service area inside desk) was super friendly and should get a callout. She was nice the last time I was in as well. Thank You Bob for steering your team in a great direction. My wife needs a new Highlander if you ever get them back in stock and I will be getting a new Tundra in the next couple years as well. Regards Chris M More
Toyota is the best when it comes to service and customer relations. I have been a customer for over 30 years and they are excellent in what they do. Toyota does not change regardless of economy, sales or er relations. I have been a customer for over 30 years and they are excellent in what they do. Front tires at 4/32nd tread depth. Unsafe. Dealer would not replace for free. Quoted $1000 for 2 new tires. ( Outrageous ) Didn't purchase. Went to Belle Tire and purchased out of poc Unsafe. Dealer would not replace for free. Quoted $1000 for 2 new tires. ( Outrageous ) Didn't purchase. Went to Belle Tire and purchased out of pocket. Forced to purchase VIN etching for $299 or no deal. No info provided for Phantom Footprints Upgrade 5000 VIN etching. No website for this company.Etching in no way prevents a car from being stolen. Pure profit for the dealer. Had to sign documents showing I did not want any of the "add-ons" ( Fabric and paint protection, GPS Tracking, Ceramic coating, extended warranty, wheel and tire protection - wheels were already curb rashed severely, etc... ) pushed by the dealer. If the add-ons are not part of the purchase price ( non-negotiable ) then why does the buyer have to sign a document showing refusal to purchase. Spare tire needed air. Dealer did put the car on a rack in the service department so I could inspect underneath the car. Kudos for that. If I had not flown into O'Hare from southern Indiana I would have walked away from the deal. I had a 6 hour drive home and this was the closet G90 in decent shape. Car should have been offered for sale for at least $25,000 vice $25,990 due to the condition of the front tires. The rear tires were new so why wouldn't the front tires have also been changed. Car was dirty and not washed for the test drive. I gave advance notice when I was going to be there. I Uber'd from O'Hare. Less than 1/4 tank of gas for test drive. Salesman did provide a full tank of gas for the deal. But I had to ask for it. Don't think used cars get the full tank. Never met the Sales Manager after the deal was done. Sour taste on the deal. I'll make the best of it. Very tiring that most all dealers pull the VIN etching scandal on customers. More
