It was reported on CarFax that this car was not in any accidents, and yet there are new damages that can be seen on the car (obvious damage from an accident). The dealer refused to budge with the price. After some negotiation, we came down to an agreement. Unfortunately, the finance manager was slipping in some of these hidden fees that were not explicitly stated. I was overcharged for over $4k!! If possible, I really don't want the car anymore unless they are willing to refund those hidden fees without a fight (doubt it)... More
Three strikes your out ! Bought a 2019 4Runner from here service department is the worst I have ever seen took it in for the 15k ,40 psi in three tires 28 psi in the other Bought a 2019 4Runner from here service department is the worst I have ever seen took it in for the 15k ,40 psi in three tires 28 psi in the other one tire service light came on wife took it over to suburban tire that’s when we found out the tire pressure was off , also the passenger mirror plastics came apart they told my wife nothing they could do about and it looked like it was hit so we took it over to a body shop in south ELgin they could not see any damage and popped it back in at no charge , week later it did it again took back to Elgin Toyota they said the mechanic took it apart and could not find anything wrong with it so drove away again , a few days ago my daughter close the passenger door and guess what the mirror popped apart again this time the top part fell off and hit the ground and chipped the paint so brought it back the Elgin Toyota for the third time they put it back together and scratch the xxxx out of the top cover paint even more instead of replacing the mirror they wanted to just touch the paint up do you believe the stupidity of this dealership no customer satisfaction in their vocabulary I am now in contact with Toyota headquarters to get this resolved the car is under warranty and they should replace the mirror end of story instead they just want to xxxx customers off stay far away from this dealership until they get an attitude adjustment. The MSRP total included the delivery, processing and handling fee of $1,120.00 (they gave us a $245.00 discount) but still had to pay the balance. When we questioned salesperson Girish and manager Moe both said the buyer has to pay and we paid. Later, we called two other Toyota dealerships and both dealers confirmed that since the MSRP total includes the delivery, processing and handling fee they will not charge the customer. We lost the trust we had in Elgin Toyota and it will be hard to buy another car or recommend them to someone else. More

Disrespected We bought a truck and about 2 weeks later we dropped it off so they could work on some extras we paid for when we bought it. I went to pick up the tru We bought a truck and about 2 weeks later we dropped it off so they could work on some extras we paid for when we bought it. I went to pick up the truck because I was informed it was ready. I get there the person who’s there to greet you doesn’t even say hi. We get in the truck and noticed there were things wrong so I turn the vehicle around. I never left the parking lot, actually I never got farther than 10 feet from the service door. All of a sudden they can’t help me because everybody is gone for the day. I was like I just stepped out. I was here 3 minutes ago and there is something wrong with the truck. He’s like you can bring it back tomorrow. I was like no I can’t it took me an hour to get here only to find out the truck is not ready and now you want me to drive back tomorrow. He comes back ok you can leave the truck but we can’t give you the loner back because the ticket was already closed. I’m like I need to get home, can I talk to your manager. Another employee comes back and they are going to see if they can get a loner. I have to explain myself again to somebody else. Then another employee comes back to let me know he can just open the same ticket. After my long drive to the dealer straight out of work and haven’t even had dinner I had to explain myself to several employees to get some help. Then when I think everything is good and I’m going to be on my way home. This lady steps out and was SUPER RUDE yelling at me in front of the employees because it turns out I was the rude one. Excuse me maybe next time double check that the job is done right before you call your customers to tell them that they can pick up the vehicle and do not give them a hard time after they are still willing to work with you. Anybody that is trained in customer service should know about service recovery. It was your mistake so please don’t be rude and disrespectful to me. I had every right to be upset as a customer who drove one hour to pick up my vehicle and had to drive another hour back home empty handed. If she was a good manager or lead person whatever she is there because she didn’t even introduce herself before she started going off at me. She should have said hi my name is .... I’m sorry about the situation please come into my office so we can talk, again service recovery and talked to me in private instead of trying to show off her power in front of other workers. I will never buy another vehicle from here after this experience. I got the message loud and clear that you don’t want my business and you definitely don’t care about your customers. I will let friends and family know not to buy here and take their business somewhere else. More

The bad is really everything else. Bob Loquercio of Bob Loquercio Auto Group is typical Italiano mob boss culture that permeates the auto business across Chicagoland. This trickles down into his dealerships, and, unfortunately, his staff. Bob K is a tool and has a counter ready for every argument you make, so don't even bother with him. Sam Kim made a good point. Why should they bother selling to me through my credit union when a sucker will finance through their department that very weekend. Can't argue with that! They move a lot of cars and there's a lot of dumb, desperate people out there. And what's with this VS2000? Even the very name sounds like a scam. Because it is. They push this on every vehicle they sell to make up for their competitive internet pricing. I intended to buy a “Certified” Rav4 with nothing else tacked on besides tax, title, and doc fee. Guess what I saw on the sales invoice? VS2000. With an amount they originally told me was the cost to certify the vehicle, which now suddenly wasn't included with the price. Really guys? You think I'm that easy to fool? I can’t even remember the figure, but it doesn’t matter. Whatever number they put there is pure profit for them, so look very carefully before signing. They also have a $400 doc fee for temp plates/registration, which is absurd. This brings me to their finance manager, AJ. Who has a face that screams con man. I mean, just look at his photo online. It’s true what they say. Physiognomy is real. There are too many other Toyota dealerships in the area to even bother with these clowns. Go somewhere else. More
Verify what you are getting carefully I wanted to make sure the used car I was purchasing was Toyota certified. I did not want the extended service plan from the dealership or the VS2000 I wanted to make sure the used car I was purchasing was Toyota certified. I did not want the extended service plan from the dealership or the VS2000 I was very clear that the exterior of the car was not of concern to me. I was charged $2100 for the extended service plan and VS2000. Since I was stuck with it, I thought I might as well make the most of it even though I didn't want it. I scheduled to have the VS2000 done 9/4 at 7:15am and took a vacation day off work. When I got there they said that they had no records of the VS2000 even though they had called me twice specifically about it prior to me setting up the appointment in person. More

He was patient, personable, had the test drives ready back to back. Marlon worked out the numbers to get us a great deal & manageable payment. He made the whole process smooth with clarity- We had nothing but a great experience. Definitely recommend working with this gentleman! More
