We are a bit confused by the acceleration issues referenced, as the 2017 Sienna gained 30 horsepower and an 8 speed transmission, making it significantly faster, and more efficient, than your 2015. This can be verified by independent sources ( https://www.0-60specs.com/toyota-sienna-0-60-times/) and (https://www.caranddriver.com/toyota/sienna). It may simply be a perception issue, as the 2017 also gained additional sound deadening, and is a bit more refined over the 2015, perhaps it gives a different "feeling" of acceleration, but is indeed, faster. We would be glad to check every thing again at your next service. As for service, if you look at your owners manual, the first service is indeed at 5000 miles (reference page 38: https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omms-s/T-MMS-17Sienna/pdf/T-MMS-17Sienna.pdf), hence the "maintenance required soon" notification. That does not necessarily mean "oil change". Normal use calls the first oil change at 10k miles, or 12 months. There are certain circumstances that call for one earlier, which may have applied to you. At any rate, the service referenced here was done free of charge, as it is covered under ToyotaCare 2year/25k mile no cost service plan. As a gesture of good will, we would be glad to give you a complimentary oil change after your ToyotaCare coverage has expired. Also, you still have not sent me the name that the vehicle is under in our service records so I can note the account with the complimentary oil service.

No confusion here at all. If you reread what was written, it should be pretty clear. There are even links to your owner's manual and to independent test of the 2017 Sienna. The 2017 Sienna is objectively faster. Should there be a particular problem that happens to effect yours alone, it would obviously be covered by your Toyota drive train warranty. As we said, we would be glad to check it out at your next service. To reiterate, if you read your owner's manual, or go to the link provided, you can clearly see your oil changes are 10k miles apart, under normal conditions. Oil changes are not the only service done to a vehicle, hence the "maintenance required soon", not "oil change required soon". Your vehicle requires more than oil changes. Again, if an oil changed happened to be done when you visited at around 5k miles (which we do not know for sure, as we do not know who you are), it was done for free as part of your ToyotaCare program. An oil change at 5k miles does not hurt you vehicle in any way. Also, as we previously said, we would be glad to cover your first oil change after the ToyotaCare free services are over, that way you are not out of pocket for what may have turned out to be an "extra" oil change.

You are bit confused and I am very confused. Please just tell me one thing, if I was changing oil every 10,000 miles on my 2015, why I am chaning oil every 5,000 miles on 2017 now? That is very obvious what I had been told at the time of vehicle swap was not true. 2017 Sienna doesn't have pickup like 2015 Sienna. 2017 Sienna requires oil change every 5,000 instead of 10,000 like 2015 Sienna. That tells me that those two Siennas are not same. It is no brainer , these two vehicles are not same.
