Problem: irregular knocking noise coming from the left rear of the car, especially noticeable at low speeds. Also do 20K mile routine service, which on this car is simple. I drove the technician around to point out the noise coming from the rear of the car. He then identified the cause, did a temporary fix, ordered replacement parts, and replaced the defective parts a week later. Problem solved. My only problem was with timeliness of the work. The service department needs a way to schedule and complete repair work more quickly for people who cannot get transportation to work or home. (If I lived nearby, these delays would not be a problem.) I brought my car in for an 8:30 a.m. appointment and told the service advisor that I would wait for it (I live 1.5 hours away in a rural area). The technician finally looked at the car for the problem around 4:15 p.m.! I returned on Friday of the following week to get the repair finished. The car was finally ready late Monday afternoon.
