We purchased a car from Matthew Pettis at this dealership. We were told that all paperwork would be taken care and plates would be in the mail. Here we are 3 months later and they are telling me t dealership. We were told that all paperwork would be taken care and plates would be in the mail. Here we are 3 months later and they are telling me to drive on expired plates and they will reimburse me if pulled over... What a joke.. They have not submitted the paperwork to Indiana BMV. I am now forced to file complaint with Illinois State Secretary. I repeat Do not buy a car from here. DO NOT TRUST MATT PETTIS, SOFIA RAMIREZ OR THEO NOOR. To sum up our experience, the salesman pressured us into buying the car with 0 money down because this car is not very expensive and the dealership still needs to make money. That is what he said quote for quote. Thank god we are smart and did not listen to that terrible advice. DO NOT GO HERE. More

I dropped off my car for warranty work; I’ve been trying to speak with the manager, but they keep evading me and making excuses to avoid putting me through to him. Fabian—a service department employee—thanks for refusing to connect me with your manager. Once again, I continue to lose money because of the lies told by this dealership; I am left without a car for work because they couldn't arrange a rental vehicle or an Uber to get me around. More
⚠️ VERY BAD EXPERIENCE – DISHONESTY AT ELMHURST FORD & ELMHURST CDJR ⚠️ Yesterday I visited Elmhurst Ford with the intention of purchasing a 2024 Honda Prologue Touring (VIN: 3GPKHXRJ7RS510355 / Stock: ELMHURST CDJR ⚠️ Yesterday I visited Elmhurst Ford with the intention of purchasing a 2024 Honda Prologue Touring (VIN: 3GPKHXRJ7RS510355 / Stock: A510355) that I saw advertised on their website. From the beginning, there was a lack of transparency. The salesperson confirmed that he would bring the vehicle from Elmhurst Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and asked me to wait. After more than 20 minutes, he came back with a Tesla Model 3, claiming the Honda had already been sold—despite previously telling me he was going to get it. I then drove directly to Elmhurst Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, where the vehicle was actually on display. I started the purchase process, and they began appraising my trade-in. During that time, the same Ford salesperson showed up, which was highly suspicious. Shortly after, the process suddenly stopped without a clear explanation, and I was told again that the vehicle had been “sold.” This situation shows a complete lack of honesty and coordination, and possible internal interference between both dealerships. 🔴 Key issues: Misleading information about vehicle availability Wasted time due to false promises Poor communication between dealerships under the same ownership Lack of respect for the customer Signs of internal pressure or manipulation affecting employees It is unacceptable for two dealerships under the same ownership to operate this way. This reflects not only disrespect toward customers, but also toward their own staff. ❗ Conclusion: I do NOT recommend doing business with these dealerships. The dishonesty and lack of professionalism were clear throughout the entire experience. More
We had a horrible experience with the sales team member, Miguel. He was very disrespectful, combative and defensive throughout the experience. My niece was interested in buying her first car and he consta Miguel. He was very disrespectful, combative and defensive throughout the experience. My niece was interested in buying her first car and he constantly belittled and berated her. While I was along to help her through the process, I had to stop him from raising his voice and being inappropriately rude to her several times. She asked why the online price had increased in the last week, specifically after she scheduled the test drive (she had screen shots to demonstrate the change) and he told her it was a glitch and told her that she didn't understand how this worked. We finally got up and left while he made a scene and continued to yell at us. Completely unacceptable. I have tried to call and talk to a manager and have not heard back. We will NOT be buying from this dealership and I hope this helps others stay away from this location so they can avoid a similar experience. More

It was agreed that we could take the vehicle to our mechanic for inspection. The vehicle was advertised for a fair market value according to Kelley Blue Book and our own research. Our mechanic identified nearly $3000 in repair that was necessary if we were to go ahead with our purchase. Of course we did not move forward with this option.Buyer be ware! We were disappointed that this vehicle was offered at market value given they must have known the repairs that were needed; and further that none of the repairs were disclosed, again, buyer beware! It is important to us that we point out our experience with this dealership so that others may not have the opportunity to have their choice of vehicle independently inspected. Thankfully we did. As for choosing this dealership? Buyer beware. More
