Follow up on my previous review of Empire Nissan. After paying a $200 diagnostic fee that was not mentioned verbally when I checked my car in and eventually paying a $537 repair bill for labor and on After paying a $200 diagnostic fee that was not mentioned verbally when I checked my car in and eventually paying a $537 repair bill for labor and one ignition coil., four days later my 2011 Nissan Xterra was failing to accelerate when I tried to go above 40 mph. When I contacted Empire Nissan about the diagnostic fee on the initial “repair“ they told me that the diagnostic meticulously went through the car to find out the problems so that they could repair it. After contacting Empire Nissan about this problem that occurred four days after spending $537 dollars , they said they could re-investigate it and repair the vehicle on anything additional that they found for additional fees. My question is, if the diagnostic was so “meticulous” then why were all the problems not found and repaired on my first visit. This is a waste of my time and now I’m spending additional money at Firestone to get my vehicle repaired and paying a $110 diagnostic fee that was mentioned to me verbally immediately when I came to the service desk at Firestone. Empire Nissan needs to have a better policy and be more upfront with their customers when they come in to get vehicles serviced.. More

I went into Empire Nissan to get my 2011 Nissan checked out. When I got my repair estimate it had a $200 diagnostic fee. I thought this would be waived when I agreed to the repairs, but it was not.
