They are as crooked as any dealership. I "Purchased" a new car, "based on availability." Was told they'd have one sent over from another dealership. Called 3 days later to ask if it arrived, and was told "we haven't found one, these things take time" Are you kidding me? LIES. It was a trouble to ever get a hold of them, and when I did via they're Mobile number and said so, was told "It's my day off, I shouldn't even have answered this phone for you" Terrible communication, and rude! I demanded full refund, and bought another Mazda elsewhere that same week, and guess what, NO WAIT. Save yourself the aggravation, just go elsewhere. Second note that should have been a red flag: I purchased a model at the end of the year and they kept showing me the next year's brochure. Many things have changed and they didn't know what! They don't even know their own vehicles. More
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that there can be honest straight forward sales people in New York! I would recommend anyone looking for a Mazda to come meet the staff there. However once they saw that I did my home work and shopped around, they were willing to match my best offer, and treated me very well. John Chong is a class act. Jack DePalo and Angelo Alexiadis are a great supporting cast! John kept in touch with me while I was shopping around, and at the same time he did not push too hard. He had the proper balance. More
Our salesman Jad Hawat was very knowledgeable about the Mazda CX-5. He let us test drive the vehicle on two occasions and then worked with us to get the Grand Touring package at an agreeable price. Before deciding upon the Mazda CX 5 I did my fair share of shopping around in search of the vehicle that was right for me. Most of the sales people I encountered from other dealerships, after crunching som of shopping around in search of the vehicle that was right for me. Most of the sales people I encountered from other dealerships, after crunching some numbers, kept on pressuring me into leaving a deposit, even after I asked for some time to think about their offer. At Huntington Mazda it was a different shopping experience. I was given the opportunity to fully explore the floor model of the CX 5, without the presence of a sales person looming over my shoulder. The second I needed assistance I had the pleasure to meet Mike Grant. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and had no problem answering any of my questions. The test drive went very well, with Mike explaining the different features of the car. The route of the test drive is one of the best around. It takes you down a wide and open country road, so you actually get a better feel for the car.After going over the cost of the car and reaching the best offer possible, I told Mike that I would still like to think about it. He shook my hand and told me to call him once I'd made up my mind. I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I picked up the car the day before Christmas and Mike was kind enough to put a Christmas ribbon around the rear view mirror. Thanks Mike. More

After losing two of our cars to the hurricane “Sandy”, my husband and I visited various dealerships following the storm. To our dismay other dealerships didn't come close to being as pleasant as Huntington husband and I visited various dealerships following the storm. I have to say that our experience with the salesperson, John Decandia, has been right off the bat, a very pleasant one indeed. He answered all our questions, took into account our needs and made the whole transaction pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend John Decandia to anyone visiting Huntington Mazda. He is trustworthy, knowledgeable, helpful, and doesn’t play games. After the purchase, John went over all the features thoroughly, and made sure we were comfortable and familiar with the car before leaving the dealership. When another dealer told me there was no way I could get the model I wanted in less than two months, Jad made sure he found me the car i to his word. I wanted to comment on my service experience with this dealership. I reside in NJ and had the unfortunate need for service while visiting NY. My A/C system ceased and cooked the serpentine belt requiring dealership. I reside in NJ and had the unfortunate need for service while visiting NY. My A/C system ceased and cooked the serpentine belt requiring replacement of both components. I must commend the service department for quickly diagnosing the problem, sourcing the replacement parts and having the issue resolved within 30 hrs. Unfortunately, there were some quality issues with the workmanship that resulted in more attention needed for resolution. Since I'm out of state this could have been a BIG deal, however the service Mgr Bob handled the situation very professionally and thought outside the box. Bob called my local dealer to make arrangement's for the additional issues to be resolved locally rather than having to bring the car back to NY for repair. In addition he credited me back some of the cost of repair to make up for the aggravation factor of things not being done properly. It was a very professional and pleasantly surprising experience and I commend him on being a true professional. I would highly recommend anyone needing Mazda service to experience their service department, so long as Bob is at the helm rest assured things will be handled properly. More
