Had an issue with rear shock leaking and needed it fixed as soon as possible. Expected to have the car looked at and have to come back another day, but Mike Piscopo did a great job of working with me to get as soon as possible. My salesm Bait and Switch from Empire Mazda of Huntington, NY I am happy with my CX30 but very unhappy with the devious stunt that was pulled on me. My salesman, Jahvon, got me the exact car I wanted and it was a pleasure working with him. The problem came when I was escorted into the room with the finance team to finalize the lease. The deal we agreed to -- $3,000 down, $239/month with the dealership absorbing my last lease payment and all other charges (excluding DMV and taxes) was not honored. What I was presented after signing numerous pages was a sheet demanding $7,000 down – not $3,000. I was told there was no way I should have expected to pay only $3,000 with such low monthly lease payments. I should have walked out immediately but was so stunned, I didn’t know what to do. The finance team left the room and came back with a new deal – I could give them $3,500 (on top of the $500 deposit I previously provided) but my monthly lease would be raised to $300/month. Talk about bait and switch! I should have left. I should note that I have excellent credit (north of 835) and leased two Mazdas when the dealership was managed by Jack. I will NEVER recommend this dealership. AVOID! More
