I wrote a bad review and officially claimed negative experience from other dealerships, and this is the first time that I am writing a good review! Route22 Nissan is the best in NY & NJ area (Bay Ridge Nissan is the same company but it is totally different. I visited over 10 dealerships and few leasing companies, but Route 22 Nissan was the best and I made a great deal with Elio. He is very energetic and truly took care of me and my girl friend. I bought 2016 Maxima SR and it was on Sat, which means the dealership and finance managers are possibly super busy. To be honest, we waited for a long time to see the finance manager but while we were waiting for it, Elio tried to make us not too boring and gave us some snacks. His Manager was also very nice to us (he actually tried his best he could to for us for pricing and customer service, and the Finance Manager, Devin, was very kind to us. There was NO BUMPING UP (I think it is very important to potential customers who try to read reviews) and he explained in detail and made sure that I understand the contraction. Moreover, my insurance company did not answer the phone to add a new vehicle(weird..), so it seemed like hard to drive out my car, but the dealership provided temp insurance for us!! Even thought the car was washed and detailed before we pick up, Elio made 100% sure that the car is clean and ready to go. He cleaned all sticky stuff on the windows and double-checked whether I was totally satisfied. I will strongly recommend this place if my co-workers and friends consider to buy a car from Nissan. Now, I know why they achieved over 4 stats and 600 good reviews, and I am so happy to writing one of the good reviews :) Trust me and save your precious time and money at Route 22 Nissan. Strongly Recommended!!! More

The team at this dealership works closely together and I had constant reminders as to when my car needed to be serviced. The staff is very friendly. I decided that it was time to change my car. I went into the dealership on February 29th just to look around and check out the possibilities. Little did I know how convincing the team would be. Everyone worked together and I was treated with the utmost respect. I was given all of the perks available. I was really afraid to make the move of getting a new car right away.However, the type of consideration given to me, in making my decision was too much for me to let go. I was given lunch and everyone rallied around me and gave me all the help I needed to transition to the new car Since I got the car, Everyone gives me compliments on the color of the car, the size, and the fact that I do deserve to have a brand new car. I absolutely love my car and would, without hesitation, recommend anyone interested in buying a car to this dealership. Fabulous job guys. More
PAYING FOR TWO CARS!!! BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a new car from this dealer Jan 2016. I traded in my car as a down payment. Nissan agreed to pay off the balance I owed on my trade-in. Fe I purchased a new car from this dealer Jan 2016. I traded in my car as a down payment. Nissan agreed to pay off the balance I owed on my trade-in. February 2016 the bank sent a past due notice because payment was never made. I called Nissan 22 and spoke to the guys who sold me the car, Mainer and Giovanni (aka Gio). After being put on hold for over 10 mins and tranferred back and forth, I was told to call back the next day. Called back the next day ~ same thing: on hold, transferred, only this time I was told the check was sent give it a few days. The bank called again about payment and threatened to report past due payment. I explained that I sold the car, and no longer have possession ~ they didn't care. I ended up paying in order to protect my credit. The I gave it two more weeks, and called again ~ same story: placed on hold, transferred, told payment was sent. This happened over and over. Today is MARCH 3, 2016, and ANOTHER PAYMENT IS DUE SOON!!! This is a nightmare! I am paying for two cars! One I have no possession of!!! I will be taking this company to court because this is a grave injustice, and a violation of our contract!!! More

One of the oil change they crack my car`s oil pan strip, and now they deny. Service adviser( Vincent) he has really attitude problem. Manager of the department, he just keeping saying" you have to pay" you have to pay". If i need to pay, i will pay no worries but listen to customer first. After they listen to you, they are looking at your face speechless.And Service manager said that" i have to run this place, it doesn't work that way" Is that really costumer service skill? or are they really care about us? or they really focus on customer satisfaction? By the way anytime you go there, just be ready that you will waste at least 2 hours of your life for any single service check.... More
