We sincerely regret that this unfortunate situation happened to one of valued Nissan’s customers. It is even more unfortunate for us that we are receiving this negative rating so unjustly, as our dealership is being confused with another Nissan agency, which is located right down the road from us and ALSO ON ROUTE 22 WEST. We don’t have anyone by the name of “Mike” working for us and never did (at least not in the last 8 years) In light of the experience that this customer endured, it is very evident that it happened, as result of confusion in the name of the dealership. We are ROUTE 22 NISSAN, located on 399 Route 22 West in Hillside, New Jersey. The other agency is called Nissan of Springfield, located at 199 Route 22 West, Springfield, New Jersey, which is literally, less than 5 miles down the road from us. We have been receiving comments about their unethical practices for quiet some time. Deplorably, customers often confuse our dealership, ROUTE 22 NISSAN with the other Nissan agency simply because of our proximity and physical location (both are on route 22 west). Many times, customers search for a dealership by their address and location, when ROUTE 22 WEST is plugged into a search engine, ROUTE 22 NISSAN often comes up in search results, as the dealership that was inquired about… Please take note, that we are ROUTE 22 NISSAN and we do not deceive our customers, nor engage in any unethical selling techniques. We have very high ratings in overall customer satisfaction with Nissan and our reputation among the customers, who are doing or have done business with us is beyond reproach!!! Sadly, we are falling victims of confused identity with another dealership, where selling practices and policies are very questionable at best.
