Very Poor Experience Let me tell you about my experience at Metric Subaru at 1767 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington, New York. First off, I bought two Subaru RS Imprezas Let me tell you about my experience at Metric Subaru at 1767 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington, New York. First off, I bought two Subaru RS Imprezas for my sons(not at Metric). When I went to Metric Subaru I met Vinny Rizzo, assistant sales manager, (vinny@metricsubaru.com). I told him we had just lost one of my Subaru’s (snow storm accident) and I was looking for another Impreza but I wanted an Outback wagon. I was told by Mr. Rizzo that a low mileage, red, Impreza Outback would be coming off of lease in the next week. I said,” that would be perfect’ and we exchanged information. I returned the following Saturday, and the red Subaru was there, meanwhile I did not receive a phone call letting me know that the car had arrived. Mr. Rizzo informed me that the car would first have to go through the shop for inspection/ repairs before I would be able to purchase it. I returned to Metric Subaru a week later, with my son, to see the red Subaru Impreza in the parking lot. At that same time I saw Mr. Rizzo in the parking lot and I approached him saying that I would like to buy the car. I was told by Mr. Rizzo that one of the mechanics took possession of the Subaru. I asked him how could that be, as I have been here several weeks in a row, even before that car had arrived. Mr. Rizzo replied, “Employees come before customers.” After hearing this response I left with my son. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this dealership. I don't believe that they are trust worthy and do not wish to purchase a vehicle where the customers come second and are not respected. More
