Before I write my review, I want the readers to know that this is the first review that I have ever written. The fact is, I had such a horrible experience with Huntington Toyota that I decided that it could this is the first review that I have ever written. The fact is, I had such a horrible experience with Huntington Toyota that I decided that it could help others if I took the time to inform them of my experience at Huntington Toyota and to warn them to avoid this dealership. Once my husband and I decided exactly which car we wanted to buy, I sent an email to a number of different Toyota dealerships on Long Island and upstate NY asking them if they had the car that we had seen advertised on the Toyota website. While one dealership told me they didn’t have that particular version of the car, another Toyota dealership not only told me that they didn’t have that version of the car either, but that they haven’t even seen that version of the car in a long time, that their records indicate that no other Toyota dealership on Long Island has the car either, and that they don’t think that Toyota supplies this version of the car to this region. At the same time, however, Mike Fox from Huntington Toyota claimed that Huntington Toyota did have the car on the Huntington Toyota lot. I sent Mr. Fox a follow-up email asking him to please double check whether or not Huntington Toyota actually had this particular version of the car since other dealerships had led me to believe that Huntington Toyota may not. He continued to insist that they did have this car on the lot, encouraged us to come to the dealership (to travel all the way to Huntington) and asked if we wanted to put down a deposit on the car before we arrived. Fortunately, however, I found out from another salesman that Huntington Toyota did not have and had never had that car on the lot, before we traveled all the way to Huntington. In short, Mike Fox lied. As a result, I highly recommend that if you decide to buy a car from Toyota, that you do so at another dealership. From what I have experienced myself and also heard from others, Huntington Toyota doesn’t value its customers’ time. If a salesman lies about whether or not a customer can see a car on the lot of their dealership, it makes me wonder what else he and other salesmen at the same dealership might also be lying about. If you have decided to buy a car from Toyota, I highly recommend that you avoid the Huntington Toyota dealership. Instead, I would highly recommend that you buy your car from one of the many other Toyota dealerships on Long Island. More

This dealership has always been wonderful whenever I've needed my car fixed (which is rare, since it's a Toyota!) or inspected. One can't ask for better people fixing your car! I went to Huntington Toyota/Scion to trade in my 2010 Prius for a new 2013 model. I had heard the Dealership was under new management and I hoped the staff might be better than I had found previously. Bu Prius for a new 2013 model. I did my research carefully and arrived with what I considered to be a informed idea of what I wanted. What a relief to find someone like Todd. He spoke clearly and directly to me. The prices he had, and my research prices were almost identical. He listened to what I wanted, and what I wanted to pay. He went out of his way to find the car I wanted. There was none of the patronizing or adversarial experience I had had in the past. The whole experience was good and I drove away a happy new owner of a 2013 Prius. Thanks, Todd. More
