I had the experience of dealing with this dealership twice, as it's the closest one to where we reside. I bought a certified used car from them, and I can say for sure, these people will do basically an twice, as it's the closest one to where we reside. I bought a certified used car from them, and I can say for sure, these people will do basically anything to start playing games with the customers once they know that you decided to buy their car. We agreed on a price after the agent made several trips between us and his manager, and then came back finally to say there is no deal !! and the reason is $250 , that his manager agreed to and then changed his mind !! can you believe it ?? anyways, we needed the car badly then , otherwise we would have walked out. We wanted to give them another chance we thought, if we dealt with another agent. First we corresponded with them online, and they sent us price quotes for new models of toyota, and when we visited the dealership and informed them of what we are looking for, and the quotes we got from them online, they just simply they didn't honor their quote. We were given the final price for a certain model 2011. We went to see other dealerships further away in the meantime. in the following few days, we were getting phone calls asking whether we made a decision or not. Until one day, we received one call from one of their agents, asking what did we decide, and the price they gave us, will rise because of Japan Tusnami, and the toyota reducing incentives, etc... I told him ok....and that was the last time, I talked to anyone in that dealership... We went to Westbury toyota. If you want straightforward honest customer service, that's Westbury Toyota. Never felt so at ease, no pressure , no games, gave us all our options for the money we were willing to spend...and the decision came from us with no pressure, very professional ...after all thats what customer service is all about... For those who wrote about the cookies and other stuff...we go there to buy our family car not to eat or drink.. I dont think focusing and rating a dealership based on whether they smile in your face and laugh behind your behind, and offer you cookies for a dollar or 2 a piece, then hit you will all the fees, and play games to get the most out of you once they knew you wanted the car !! tha'ts not professional.. In summary, Huntington Toyota is over rated. I drove much further to see other dealership and that was the fist time I even visited West bury toyota ..but you can tell ..who is the professional from the two I wouldn't recommend Huntington Toyota to anyone who wants a good customer service and a good lasting experience and not just simply looking for small silly things ( offering Cookies or coffee ) and make the recommendation based on that only... The niceties from coffee, fresh bagels, fresh baked cookies!!!! and magazines and tv's all make the experience of "waiting" bearable. Your staff was polite, informative and courteous. After having a terrible experience at Lee's Toyota , I was nervous to go to another dealer. I wanted a manual Scion and Huntington had one so I went. What a pleasant surprise!!! I was treated with a wonderful greet from Bobby Torrino and he did EVERYTHING to make my buying experience there an absolute joy. He was respectful, caring, helpful and professional. The other sales people and manager were also very nice. When one salesman came around offering fresh baked chocolate chip cookies I couldn't believe it! (nice touch) As for my car, I just love it, I get lot's of compliments and I always say where I got it . I looked around for months at different cars and am so happy I got my Scion and that took that drive out to Huntington. Thanks More
After a rocky start, my husband and I picked up our first brand new car today. We had Todd Coopersmith as our salesman who helped us through each step of this process. on april 23 my wife and i went to buy a prius - after much thought we where undecided - and since there were not many prius around mr tony calamia persuaded us to leave a 500.deposit - refundable if i ca much thought we where undecided - and since there were not many prius around mr tony calamia persuaded us to leave a 500.deposit - refundable if i called in 48 hours. April 24 was easter so they were closed. On monday april 25 i emailed and spoke to mr tony calamia to tell him we decided not to get the car and to refund my 500.00 He told me no problem. I checked my credit card on line several days later - no credit - so i called several times and they told me it was being processed. I called master card they says it can take 2to 3 days . After waiting several days - still no credit adjustment .I called again they said they will resubmit it again. As of today may 7 still not credit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess things must be very bad that they are holding my 500.00 deposit More
