Although I don’t recall the specific names of the people I initially met, Wayne was the person I interacted with the most. He was very helpful and knowledgeable as always. He made all attempts to guide us through an extensive list of all available XC-40's at the dealership along with each unique option. After many years of new car shopping, I have to say this was my very best experience. Errol was adept and very informative, He made sure to answer all of our questions patiently, which allowed us to select the XC-40 which was exactly right for our individual needs. We surely will be coming to Empire for years to come. More

I have not been to this dealership for many years, mainly because it is a bit of a distance from my home. What brought me to this dealership today was one thing. I have been a Volvo enthusiast for many years because it is a bit of a distance from my home. What brought me to this dealership today was one thing. I have been a Volvo enthusiast for many years. I have learned one thing. I have come to have a real allegiance to a specific technician, Nino Gambino. Whenever Nino makes a career choice to switch dealership that is where I go. The reason is, he is a superb diagnostician and technician, who is extremely passionate about his work, takes great pride in his performance and cares for his customers so much that some of his long term customers come to feel that they have a friend in Nino, that he watches out for their best interests. I brought my 2021 XC90 in today because a light went on stating it was urgent that the car be brought into the dealer for service. This happened yesterday afternoon. I had never had that happen before, but I knew it was not good to drive the car for any length of time like that. I called this dealer, explained the situation, and where most dealerships can make one wait weeks for an appointment, they "squeezed " me in this morning. When I got there I was greeted by Nash, the service advisor, who welcomed me, and could not have been more cordial. Unlike other dealerships, I was not treated like a second class citizen because the car was not leased from there. He agreed to assign it to Nino, and he showed me to the waiting area. It was comfortable. The receptionist was gracious and asked, along with other staff, if I needed anything while I waited. Nino was fairly quick to uncover the problem, explained that it was a software issue that was pretty easily resolved, and that he could take care of it while I waited. It did not take long and the work was completed, all else checked and I was on my way. Unlike other dealerships there was no attempt to even mention any other work needed. Though the car only has 11k miles, its not unheard of for some dealerships to look to upsell in some fashion. Not this place and certainly not Nino. I had heard that this new owner, and the new general manager had recruited the best staff to assemble their team from throughout Long Island, and it shows. If you are in the Long Island area and your Volvo needs service, in my opinion, this is now the place to go, without question. This general manager should be commended for going out of her way to put such a customer service friendly qualified team in place. More
