Everything started out great. Then I got the total and was floored. I gave the okay. When I picked up the car, the amount had increased by $500. There was little to no communication from the service department contact on the status of my vehicle. I dropped off my vehicle for a sensor fault at 9 am; I didn’t hear any updates that first day so I ca department contact on the status of my vehicle. I dropped off my vehicle for a sensor fault at 9 am; I didn’t hear any updates that first day so I called near the end of the day and was told someone would call me with an update, no one called me. The following day I waited most of the day and in the afternoon I received a text message with a quote for $1200+ to replace wheel parts with no context. Again I had to call and get a hold of the service member who was in charge of my repair. Needless to say my car had to be picked up by a collision shop that had done previous repairs post accident. The Duarte service members only concern was that I or the collision shop pay the $250 diagnostic fee. The collision shop agreed to pay upon picking my vehicle, they have been a lot better at communicating the status of my vehicle and repairs. I will have to rethink bringing my vehicle in Envision Ford the next time I need service. More
