I was sold a 2021 Chevy Bolt EV under what I believe are false pretenses. I wanted this car because of its range of (at MOST) 259 miles per charge. I believe the dealership was aware of a problem with false pretenses. I wanted this car because of its range of (at MOST) 259 miles per charge. I believe the dealership was aware of a problem with the Bolt and failed to inform me. My range has been 113-153 per charge. The Bolt is a lemon. The battery was recalled due to rare fires. Chevy eventually stopped replacing batteries and did a software "fix" which limits the charge to 80% of capacity. Even given this restriction and cold weather, my range is nowhere near what I was led to believe by Chevy ads, and I believe the dealership knew this. I wasn't advised of the software "fix" until I was driving off the lot and the salesman showed me a piece of paper in the glove compartment explaining that I would have limited range for 6000 miles. Even after 6000 miles, this car is not going to meet my needs. I'm sorry I set foot in Epic Chevrolet. I am now stuck with a lemon. More
