The perfect car buying experience When I called Evansville Hyundai -- I told the salesperson, Joe Maddox, that I would be a very easy and a very difficult customer. Easy because I knew When I called Evansville Hyundai -- I told the salesperson, Joe Maddox, that I would be a very easy and a very difficult customer. Easy because I knew the vehicle I wanted, was well-versed on its features, price, etc. and knew they had the number I wanted on the price tag. Difficult because I live more than 700 miles away from the dealership and wouldn't be able to make the trip north until more than two weeks after the initial contact. Joe worked with me to get the numbers straight and periodically checked in as I finalized my finances and travel arrangements. He was there to pick me up from the Evansville airport, and after checking out the vehicle and getting a quick tour of some of its features, I was ready to sign and take my new car home. I was in contact with more than a half dozen dealerships during my search process and Evansville Hyundai was hands down the best to work with. Joe and the team were all very friendly and helpful. Probably the most important thing for me was their honesty. They were the only dealership I contacted that had what I deemed to be a good price listed on the vehicle I wanted, and didn't have any hidden or optional numbers between the list price and the out the door. A dealership closer to home gave me a better out the door number when I told them I was going elsewhere, but I stuck with Evansville Hyundai because of how well I was treated throughout the process -- and I've not been disappointed, even through the completion of the purchase.
