My purchase of a 2018 GMC truck from Ewing Subaru on Nov. 29, 2019 was not favorable. First, I was told that if I came to the dealership on Black Friday (Nov. 29) between 7 am to 9 am, and made a purchase, 29, 2019 was not favorable. First, I was told that if I came to the dealership on Black Friday (Nov. 29) between 7 am to 9 am, and made a purchase, I would receive a $500 gift card. But the dealership made the gift card a part of the deal, saying I would have to give up the gift card. Second, the CarFax report indicates an oil & filter change by Ewing on 6/11/2019 (at 2,429 miles). Then the CarFax report indicates another oil & filter change by Ewing on 11/11/2019 (at 4,375 miles). But when I purchased the truck on 11/29/2019 with 4,392 miles the remaining oil life was at 52%. This indicates a false reporting of at least one of the two oil changes. Third, when I drove away from the dealership on Nov. 29 the gas light (low fuel) came on. The dealership could have at least put a quarter tank of gas in the vehicle. All considered, I wish I had waited and had looked at another 2018 GMC truck that was for sale at another dealer. More

Additionally, I appreciate he kept both my dad and myself informed of everything, and called us separately to do so, which is very helpful as I don't understand everything but did want updates on my vehicle and my father understands much more and helps me ensure nothing sounds 'fishy' or like I'm being taken advantage of - so Alex went above and beyond to ensure we were both informed. When I walked in the service center doors and waited while Alex was on the phone, several people saw me waiting and made sure I had been helped and assured me I would be taken care of shortly, which I appreciated greatly. A young man named Devin shuttled me back to work while my car was being worked on - he was also friendly and professional and I was not worried as a passenger - his driving was safe. This shuttle service is so incredibly helpful. Overall my experience in the service center was an A+ all around. Thank you so much! This helps to make my life easier! I will be a returning customer.
