I am very pleased with the service from Executive Honda. I ordered my Honda Accord and it only took a month and a half to come in! Everything was expained to me in terms of the car features to the financing I ordered my Honda Accord and it only took a month and a half to come in! I ordered a new 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid EX in Grey on 2/18/22 and was told it was going to take 2 -3 months. I was going to trade in my 2021 Honda HRV Sport which they appraised at 20,000. It had low m 2/18/22 and was told it was going to take 2 -3 months. I was going to trade in my 2021 Honda HRV Sport which they appraised at 20,000. It had low miles and was in very good condition. I thought the appraisal was very low. On, April 4, 2022, I texted my salesperson and asked for any updates on my car. He told me there was nothing to update. I then asked him to change the color of my car to Sonic Grey Pearl and instead of the EX-model I wanted to change it to the EXL model. He said he would do it since they did not start production on my car. On, April 24, 2022, my salesperson said that my car would go into production on 5/23 - 5/27. He said the car would be ready 3 - 4 weeks after that date. I asked if he put in the changes I requested, and he said yes. On, May 16, 2022, I reached out to my salesperson to see if everything was on track, and he assured me it was. On, June 6, 2022, my salesperson texted me that Honda rejected the color and model change saying that they decided to stop making hybrids until the next model year. I was extremely upset and called all the Honda Dealers in CT and they all told me that they could order me the exact same car I wanted, and color and model and it would take another 3 - 4 months. I asked if they had stopped producing the car at all and was only going to produce the next year's model. They said no, that was not going to happen and that they were taking orders for 2022 Honda CRV Hybrids. I then called my salesperson and he said oh, I can order the car for you, but it will take 3 - 4 months to get it produced. He never said that in the first conversation after telling me that I would not get what I ordered. So, now I am to believe that either my salesperson lied to me about not putting in my request and I am getting a car I didn't want and waited 4 months to get, or I have to wait another 4 months to get the car I wanted. Now to add insult to injury, I looked up the value of my trade in car and was told it was worth $24030.00. I had stopped in at the dealership and spoke to my salesperson saying that Wallingford Buick was going to buy my car for that price, and he basically said that he wasn't going to pay that price. So far, my experience with Honda of Wallingford is poor. There is no accountability, no follow through and honesty is optional. More
