Not Impressed I had visited this dealership to test drive two vehicles I was interested in perhaps purchasing. It took someone over 15 minutes to actually approach I had visited this dealership to test drive two vehicles I was interested in perhaps purchasing. It took someone over 15 minutes to actually approach my family and I in the lot while we were looking at cars. Lisa, who was very nice, took us for 2 test drives in the vehicles I was interested in. While she didn't know a lot about the vehicles, she was a pleasant person to deal with. The nightmare didn't start until we sat down to negotiate prices. I truly hate the car buying experience and this dealership just added to my nightmare. Lisa had to keep going back and forth to the "man behind the curtain" to juggle numbers. When none of them worked for me, I actually walked away from buying the car. However, the next day I receive an email from one of the sales managers asking me to come back because he thought we were close to a deal. I replied with the numbers I was hoping to get for my trade-in, what I would be willing to pay for the used vehicle, my down payment, and what I could afford to finance. While they wouldn't agree through email, they asked me to come in. I agreed to come in and we actually came to deal that I was comfortable with. I wanted to use my bank to finance my purchase but I was told multiple times that they can beat my banks loan rate and so I decided to finance with them. When I went back to finalize buying my car, I learned (only because I caught it while signing papers) that the bank that they were using to finance my loan had a $15,000 minimum, which is $1,000 more than what we agreed upon. My bank does not have a minimum and would have financed the amount I needed, they also had a lower loan rate. To make up the $1,000 difference, they added in the dealer fees and tire coverage for 5 years. This was done WITHOUT consulting me. I honestly wanted to walk away from the deal. While I did go through with the purchase of the vehicle, I'm less than impressed with how this dealership handled my purchase. I also have multiple chips in my windshield but the manager says that since it passed inspection, they have no problem selling it, it's used. I wish I could be excited about my new vehicle but honestly, it has left a sour taste in my mouth. More

We explained our situation to Lyndsey over the phone and came in and met with the service manager Nick. He has gone above and beyond (and then some) to make sure that our family was taken care of. We can't begin to explain how grateful we are for everything they have done. We ultimately needed a new engine for our STI and Nick made sure we were taken care of with their parts department as well. Bill, the parts manager made an everlasting first impression on us. We have made sure that friends and family in the area know how well we were treated here. Everyone we encountered through our whole experience here has been great. After accepting a deal at another subaru dealership on wednesday 3/11/15 i thought it would be best i do some last minute comparing at other locations After accepting a deal at another subaru dealership on wednesday 3/11/15 i thought it would be best i do some last minute comparing at other locations. I did not expect to find exactly what i was looking for and more at Exeter subaru. They offered me a much better deal and took their time to make sure what i wanted was possible. I sat with them on Thursday 3/19 and drove off the lot in my brand new impreza on saturday 3/21. I couldnt be happier with the customer service i received. I will never buy a car elsewhere. I genuinely thank all of the people that helped me along the way, this was the best, easiest and most pleasant car buying process ever. Thanks Jon, Greg and Dan! More
