When we stopped at a store parking area, he explained the workings of all those things under the hood and answered a all questions. For all of our research, we determined that Exeter Subaru had the largest inventory and the best pricing. When we arrived during business hours, we were greeted by John who was warm and quite nice. After 35 years of marriage, I know how difficult if can be to work with my wife and me. She is the dreamer and me the practical one. John immediately found the balance for us both. John asked and listened to our feelings about what we needed and wanted. My wife and I had already narrowed our choices and John helped by providing the right amount of detail without over doing it with a lot of unnecessary sales-speak. We did our test drive. While John was entertained by my wife, he managed to provide a continuous level of information and facts about the car, Subaru and Exeter Subaru. It was a great experience for us all. Coming to an agreement was easy. Both sides were clear and we both understood each other's needs. A good balance was reached. There was, however, one thing that was hard for me to comprehend. All of our previous car purchases required a bank or certified check to finalize the transaction. John kept smiling and repeatedly assured me that my personal check was good. This told me something that I had not realized elsewhere; that this Dealer trusts me. Buyers are supposed to trust the Dealer but the certified check kinda compromises the reciprocity in that regard. Bottom line here is this: my check was good and the experience I had with Exeter Subaru was the best. John and his employers policies and philosophy made me a believer. More

great price, poor communication I traveled from NY to NH to buy a car on Sunday. When i completed a deal I was told to come on Monday to pick up the car. This was very inconvenient for me but because of a good price I stayed, I was never told, also never herd of it that you can close a deal and not be able to pick up a car on a same day. Well there is first time for everything. Next day when I came in and asked to be refunded for a $75 motel stay i was denied sarcastically. When I spoke to a sale manager about this and this is not fare to a customers, I was told that "You should not tel us how to run our business we are capable of doing it without your help". At this point i regretted my purchase. One good thing came out of this, Boston was 45 minutes away and I spend a great day in Boston. Also rest of the staff seems to be very good including two sale people that i dealt with over the course of 2 days. ALSO ONCE YOU BUY A CAR MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF THE ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED SINCE MY SUBARU OUTBACK NEEDED TO COME WITH TRUNK DIVIDER. WHEN I CAME HOME I NOTICED THAT THIS IS NOT INCLUDED, I WANT BACK LOOKED AT THE PICTURES AND WHAT IS INCLUDED AND TRUNK DIVIDER IS SEEN IN PICTURES AND WAS INCLUDED IN OPTIONS. WHEN I CONTACTED EXETER I WAS TOLD "SORRY I CANNOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU" DO YOUR RESEARCH WITH THIS GUYS AND BE CAREFUL, THEY DO HAVE GREAT PRICES. More
