I went into Exeter Subaru looking to buy my first Subaru and was able to do that with a great experience to talk about. I was greeted by Dan as soon as I got out of my car. My experience with Exeter Subaru was EXCELLENT! He and the rest of the staff at Exeter Subaru are very pleasant and fun group of professionals! While i waited i was offered drinks and snacks, but i never did have a very long wait. The environment there is so warm and inviting not like a traditional dealership, it's like being at home there! Overall i would strongly recommend Exeter Subaru and hands down it's now the only place i will buy any future Subaru’s. I have been to two other locations and neither one could even compare! Simply put, Jennifer Morse and Exeter Subaru went the extra mile to earn my business. Jennifer remembered the details of our previous conversation, kept my preferences in mind, patiently answered all of extra mile to earn my business. Jennifer remembered the details of our previous conversation, kept my preferences in mind, patiently answered all of my questions (and there were many), and was diligent about following up and making sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed purchase. When I told her that I was considering a car at a different dealership, she made the extra effort to find me a similar car that would satisfy my needs, and gave me good information without being too pushy or aggressive. In doing so, she won my business. Few transactions this large go without a hitch. When something particular to my situation kept me from receiving my car on the appointed day, the dealership recognized its error, and made up for it by providing me with a high-quality loaner vehicle until we were able to get the situation taken care of. They were professional throughout the process. Finally, I have to say that dealing with Greg the business manager was one of the highlights of my experience. Greg was honest about what I needed, and was a real human being - yes, he was selling a car, and yes, it was in his best interest to get me to sign up for extra services, but he was genuine and almost brutally frank about what I needed and what I could do without. He took the extra steps to ensure that I paid the lowest possible APR, and patiently walked me through every scenario. I felt as though my buddy in the car business were giving me the inside scoop. I would recommend Exeter Subaru to anyone, without a moment's hesitation. More

On-line info from Exeter Subaru was credible and up-to-date; showroom personnel were approachable, professional, attentive and helpful (including follow-up email work). I was always aware of the dealership's focus on securing a profitable sale, but that fact of life did not detract from my broadly positive experience with John Webster and Jennifer Morse at Exeter Subaru. I believe that the accurate online prices for current inventory, along with the inexpensive pricing advisories that are available from various independent consumer advocacy groups, make it practical for most buyers to protect their own interests and receive fair treatment at Exeter Subaru. I definitely would return there, and/or recommend the dealership to friends. More

As a first-time buyer I was reluctant to make a purchase until I was certain about how to best spend my money. At Subaru of Exeter I was greeted by a friendly John Webster, who promptly brought me over to a until I was certain about how to best spend my money. At Subaru of Exeter I was greeted by a friendly John Webster, who promptly brought me over to a new Subaru Impreza. He did not try to sell me on gimmicky sound systems, backup cameras or touch screens, nor did he immediately ask about my trade-in, credit score or financing goals. John showed me the accommodating interior, then he opened up the hood and told me, with genuine pride, about Subaru's unique boxer engine and perfectly symmetrical all-wheel drive system. Then we went for a test drive... the car sold itself. For fear of naivety I spent a few weeks seeing what was available at Jeep, Nissan, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and Ford. I was consistently greeted with aggressive salesmanship, prying eyes on my trade-in, and immediate talk of pricing. During one particular experience, I went for a test drive and expressed that the car was "not what I am looking for", to which I encountered a pen and paper sliding my way and was asked "what will it take to get you in that car today?" Long story short I bought the Impreza from John and am very confident that my business went to the right place. More

Purchasing a car has always been an intimidating experience but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Exeter Subaru. I admittedly had my guard up but once I was able to explain my needs to experience but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Exeter Subaru. I admittedly had my guard up but once I was able to explain my needs to Eric, I could tell he was really listening and I felt comfortable working with him. He was polite, respectful and not pushy at all. I will recommend Eric to anyone who is looking for a car. This was easily the best experience I've had with a sales person in any car dealership. More
