When looking for a new car I went to Exeter Subaru and asked for Dan Maynes based on a friend's recommendation. Dan was great! Knowlegeable, friendly, patient and NOT pushy! My husband and I recently had a baby and were looking to 'up-size' our Legacy sedan. My husband stopped by Exeter Subaru for a test drive and had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer. Jennifer worked with me over several months to find the vehicle that I would be happiest with. I had bought a 2005 Forester XT from Exeter Subaru and was very satisfied with both the vehicle and the perfo vehicle that I would be happiest with. I had bought a 2005 Forester XT from Exeter Subaru and was very satisfied with both the vehicle and the performance of the service department (which did all of the maintenance on my XT.). Although I loved my Forester, I became intrigued by the 2013 Crosstrek and met with Jennifer for a test drive. I liked the vehicle, but I liked my Forester even more and decided to hold off buying a new car until I had a chance to evaluate the new 2014 Forester, which was to incorporate the new CV transmission and other technology advances that I had seen in the Crosstrek. During the intervening months, Jennifer did an outstanding job of keeping me posted on when the 2014 Foresters would be available and provided me with links to reviews and details about their design changes and new features. As soon as Exeter Subaru received one of the new models, she arranged for me to take a test drive and then went out of her way to get answers to additional questions that had occurred to me. Then, when it came down to agreeing on the trade-in value of my old Forester and the price of the new one, Jennifer and her sales manager went out of their way to be more than competitive. The Forester that we finally specified was not in stock, but one very close to meeting all my requirements was found at another Subaru dealership about 100 miles away. That car was brought to Exeter, the few accessories that I wanted which it did not have were added by the service department, and I was able to drive it away in less than a week after my order was placed. The after-sales follow-up by Jennifer has been excellent and my only regret is that it will probably be quite a while before I need another new car and have the chance to once again receive her attentive assistance.
