On the way up she called and said they had just sold the new one we were going to see. We went ahead and traveled to the dealership where we decided we wanted a new vehicle in a specific color. We were working with Keith Dodd and the new car sales manager who found us a car at another dealership in the color we wanted. Darlene at Hatcher's was the most complete in her follow-up. She answered any question I had and worked very hard toward earning our business. In the end, it boiled down to prices being pretty equal, and I'd honestly say that our choice was as influenced (if not moreso) by the friendliness and professionalism of Darlene and everyone we encountered at Hatcher, than it was price. We had the paperwork ready to go when we got there (all in my wife's name-it's her work car and we do that for tax and reimbursement reasons, and it was pretty much hassle-free. We also had the opportunity to meet Donnie HAtcher and his wife while we were there and every employee that dealt with us-and those helping others-was extremely helpful and courteous, too. A very positive buying experience, and, frankly, I LOATHE the generic trip to a dealer to shop for/buy a new vehicle. You usually have to sit for what seems like hours waiting while the salesperson goes back and forth with "Their Manager" and all that. There was none of that here. From Darlene, to the owner, to the finance guy and the guy that explained everything about hte car to us-they were all professional and complete.
