The service manger Mike was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to me when I went in there today. I had my vehicle serviced for my ignition switch and the auto turn off feature was not functioning. And the third problem I had was I wanted my seat belt alarm deactivated. The service center said they could not do it when in my book that came with the car, it says to bring it in to my dealership service center to have it deactivated but it is not recommended. So I called Jeep care and they made a star ticket to have one of the engineers call them to walk them through how to do it. I was then told by Jeep care that the engineer REFUSED to deactivate it because it was an important safety feature. I said that I needed that in writing that they are REFUSING to deactivate the alarm when it says clear as day that you will in my book. They said they won’t write the letter and that I had to go into my dealerships service center to have them write it. I had to leave work early today in order to make it to the service center before 5. When I got there I asked for mike and I was sent to his office. As I was explaining my problem with the alarm and the whole back story he said he couldn’t deactivate it again. I explained the book and he said he didn’t wanna see it and that he believed me. He then said that I should just buckle the seat belt and leave it behind me and what was the difference... I said that the difference is that I should not have to do that when it is my vehicle and it says that it can be deactivated in my book and that if he is refusing to do it then I need a letter stating that he is refusing to deactivate it. He refused to do so, told me he had other appointments to take he had to take care of, kept cutting me off when I tried to speak, told me to find a different dealership and closed the door on my face! I called Jeep care again and I was told that I had to speak with the area manager about this. His name is mark. I left him a message and I’m waiting for a call back.
