We came in for service and left buying a new truck. We had a great experience and received a great deal for our trade and the new Ram truck. Granby was just as funny and helpful as he was four months ago had a great experience and received a great deal for our trade and the new Ram truck. Granby was just as funny and helpful as he was four months ago when we purchased our first truck from this dealership. He went out of his way to get us the rebates we deserved and the prices we were looking for. Everyone at the dealership was very courtious and helpful and didn't give us a typical sales pitch. They were very up front with all of the information involved with the purchase of our truck and our trade. I found the experience to be very rewarding for the second time - no hassels or smokescreens just straight up facts. The financing process took very little time and Virginia was very helpful in making decisions and offering incentives for all aspects of the transactions. I would definately use this dealership in the futre and recommend them to all who may be looking for a good dealership. More
Mike Peters was great -- a super friendly, super helpful, and super professional service rep. He listened to my concerns, answered questions, and went above-and-beyond. Mike found a way to work with Paul M and super professional service rep. He listened to my concerns, answered questions, and went above-and-beyond. Mike found a way to work with Paul Miller to fix my rearview mirror. Paul took the extra time to do everything he could to try to replicate a problem I was having with my side doors. I have always been impressed with the service staff at Fair Oaks, but Mike and Paul were even better. More
I have rated this dealer as above due to a completely inadequate and incompetent Service Department, who's main concern is profit, not customer service. I purchased my "Certified" 2006 Dodge Charger R inadequate and incompetent Service Department, who's main concern is profit, not customer service. I purchased my "Certified" 2006 Dodge Charger RT from Fair Oaks Chrysler in late October 2011. I had a good sales experience with Tony and got a fair deal on a Dodge certified used car that I had saved for two years to purchase. This is where the good experience completely died. Immediatly after purchasing the vehicle, the car began to stall while driving and the instrument panel lights were out. I scheuled an appointment with the service department, thankfully the certified warranty covered a rental while the car was in te shop. Three days later I recieved a call indicating that the repairs to the instrument panel had been made, but the tech could not find a stalling problem. I picked the car up. By the end of the week, I filled the gas up in the car and immediatly had the stalling problem again. I did research on the internet and found out the likely issue was a faulty ventalation issue and the gas tank needed to be replaced. As it was around the holidays I made an appointment with the Service department in mid-Jan to get an oil change and get the stalling problem repaired. When I dropped the car off, I told them about my research and got another rental car. Ignoring my research, the service department decided to replace emmissions control parts and a condensation canister. Of course the problem persists and I just don't want to take it in for a 3rd time to this dealer, especially because around this time I got notification from Avis rental car informing me that my account was sent to collections as the dealership did not pay for my rental car bill from the service in October. I finally made another appointment for a scheduled oil change in late March (conviently 7 weeks after the full certified warranty ended). After waiting for my oil to be changed for two hours, finally a service advisor came out with a long list of problems with the car...3 wheel bearing assemblies were bad (The rear extremely bad), Spark Plugs needed to be replaced, intake needed service, and the battery connections are bad. All of which quoted at over $2,500! I declined the service as it seemed very fishy to get this quote right after the experation of the warranty, none of which was identified to me just a month or so earlier (when the warranty would have covered). I took the car to an idependent service center that I trust. The repair shop confirmed the repair needs and added that "more than likely all of these problems existed since I bought the car, meaning that the issues existed in the car when I bought the car! As you can expect I was livid that I had been driving my two kids in a car with three bad wheel bearings. I don't know if the dealer knew, or just glossed over the certification process? I spoke to every manager at the dealership, further wasting hours of my time only for them to not make the situation right and make the repairs (all the while, the stalling is still happening) Further, the dealer, has told me that they can't fix the problems because they would then have to do that for every customer.....yeah, well, I agree they should be honest when selling cars, don't you? By the way, my account is still in collections with the rental car agency. The best the GM could offer me was half off the service...wow! I just spent 20k on a car that I thought was mechanically sound, thats not enough though, they need an additional $700 to repair wheel bearings that should have been in good condition when I bought the car. This car experience has been a nightmare, stay away from this dealership, you will regret doing business with them. Countless hours waiting, calling, and researching later I have no resolution. Only one option remains, consulting a lemon law attorney. More
Took my Sebring in for service for the first time at this Chrysler shop (Fair Oaks) and was impressed with the staff. My advisor, Mike was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. As promised the da Chrysler shop (Fair Oaks) and was impressed with the staff. My advisor, Mike was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. As promised the day before he made sure I had a ride to and from work while my car was being serviced (by the way the Porter was excellent). I've had my car serviced at another Chrysler and have no plans in going back. Finally, a company that cares about their customers. More
Went for oil change and VA inspection after two hours of waiting, he came back with over 3000.00 of work need to be done on my Jeep 2005...He mentioned to pass inspection he has to change 3 light bulbs whi waiting, he came back with over 3000.00 of work need to be done on my Jeep 2005...He mentioned to pass inspection he has to change 3 light bulbs which will cost me 120.00 including labor...Told him to change it, he came back about after an hour saying he cannot pass inspection because of something else is wrong... I asked to give me back my car but he wants to pay the 120.00 for the light and with a rejection sticker... After much talk and frustration the service waive all charge... Is it worth all the wasted time and aggravation? Absolutely not More
Took my car there for a state inspection and was told that it failed and needed $1000 worth of work. We took it somewhere else that quoted us $500 for the same work. The other place told us there was not that it failed and needed $1000 worth of work. We took it somewhere else that quoted us $500 for the same work. The other place told us there was nothing wrong with the car and passed our state inspection. Thank goodness they were honest. We also took the jeep to this same dealership a few months go to get a new key made. The next day our battery was dead. A fairly new battery. We thought it was VERY weird that the battery would fail. Now I am suspicious that they may have done something to kill the battery so that we'd go back and spend more money....no way to prove it. But we'll never go back there. More
We purchased our Durango from this dealership, and have had excellent service ever since! We needed and oil change and quick tune up before a long trip, and naturally went to Fair Oaks Chantilly Dodge, as had excellent service ever since! We needed and oil change and quick tune up before a long trip, and naturally went to Fair Oaks Chantilly Dodge, as we feel this is the only dealership we have been able to trust. Our Durango had been inspected at a local shop only a month earlier, and a serious tire issue was not noticed. Not only did Fair Oaks Dodge give us a great price, but they squeezed us in to get the needed work done before our trip. We pass at least a dozen dealerships on the way to Fair Oaks Chantilly Dodge from our home, but the extra time and miles are worth the great service! More
The purpose of this review is to formally and publicly commend Service Advisor, Barbara Fisk for the excellent customer service she has provided me over the years. Back in 2006 I purchased a new Jeep Com commend Service Advisor, Barbara Fisk for the excellent customer service she has provided me over the years. Back in 2006 I purchased a new Jeep Commander and by 2010 experienced tranmission failure. Needless to say, the relationship that had developed from the intial purchase had quickly deteriorated. Barbara showed empathy and quickly teamed up with her manager Chris C. to provide a reasonable resolution, one I could live with. From that moment, I realized I was not just a number but a valued customer. Although maintenence repairs are more expensive at the dealership, as long as Barabara Fisk is emlpoyed at the Fair Oaks Chrysler Jeep & Dodge they will alway have my business. In todays era where customer service, quality, value, and loyalty have virtually all disappeared. Barbara and Chris C. should be held up as an example for others to try to emulate. It is this teams extraordinary committment to excellence in customer service that motivates them to always go the extra mile. I believe that Barbara & Chris deserves to be congratulated and rewarded for providing quality customer service well beyond my expectations. One last thing, there is a salesman by the name of William Granby who is friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. He puts the icing on the cake. While waiting to have your car serviced, Mr. Granby is always willing to share his love for cars and people without being aggressive or obnoxious. There's something about this guy, he engages you in the most inviting and relaxing way. Thanks guys! Sincerely, Scott Bell More
Our family owns 4 Chryler vehicles, all purchased elsewhere. The service we have received from Fair Oaks has been exceptional and far exceeded that we received at other Chrylser dealerships. The enti elsewhere. The service we have received from Fair Oaks has been exceptional and far exceeded that we received at other Chrylser dealerships. The entire staff is knowledgeable about all Chrysler vehicles and are honest about any "known" glitches in specific models. When our vehicles are serviced there, they have always been done right the first time and if I have a question, they have been more than happy to have me bring the vehicle back in to check things further to my satisfaction. Barbara Fisk has been my "go-to" person for our service needs. When there was a question about a specific transmission repair that was needed, she brought out the service department "tranny expert" to show and explain the problem and discuss all our options with no pressure to perform ANY repairs. Barbara has always been helpful and pleasant and makes us feel like valued customers. The entire service department staff has been professional in all dealings with our family of Chryslers and we wouldn't even think of going elsewhere for service. This is truly a 5-Star Dealership! Things are always hit or miss .... I think this dealership really is great compared to most others. A few bad apples every once in a while (I too have had a less-than-patient service advisor on the dealership really is great compared to most others. A few bad apples every once in a while (I too have had a less-than-patient service advisor on the phone [some female], the old parts guy is a bit of a grump). But, there are some folks here that exceed expectations. Bart in sales for example is one of them. He is just the greatest nicest guys (Marvin is a nice fellow too). Chris Morrison, the service manager, is a good-ol car guy. He is the perfect fit for his role, he's fair, knowledgeable, and REALLY CARES about your satisfaction and your business. He'll always do what he can to make things right. And for freakishly anal guys like me who have PERFECT cars, the dealership allows for a pre-inspection (aka walkaround) to make sure you get the car back exactly like you gave it to them. NP with this accommodation. They even have a dedicated guy to do this with you. I have bought 1 car from them and service 2 (quite regularly). I totally recommend these folks. More
