I took my car to Fairfield Chevrolet for a full inspection and basic services like oil change, brake fluid service, and transmission service. A few months later, I took the car to Cadillac Vallejo for preventive maintenance and was told it needed over $11,000 in repairs including: a left engine mount, a left upper suspension control arm, alignment, a leaking engine oil pan gasket, and a differential actuator and some other issues. I verified all of this with an independent shop. When I asked Fairfield about it, their response was that they don't work on cars older than 5 years, even though I was literally just in their shop months prior. This level of negligence is unbelievable. Their "inspection" was worthless and could have cost me the car. I don't even know if they did the work I requested, Fairfield Chevrolet should be avoided at all costs. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down soon.
