Fairfield Subaru

I reached out online the morning of 02/10 to Fairfield Subaru regarding pricing and availability of a 2022 Subaru Ascent Limited Option in Black on Black. I received an email from the Sech Durmaz, Sale Subaru regarding pricing and availability of a 2022 Subaru Ascent Limited Option in Black on Black. I received an email from the Sech Durmaz, Sales Manager stating that he didn’t have one in stock but could order one to my specifications however would take a while to arrive. It was priced at the MSRP of $43,720 I then checked their website and saw the same vehicle in Magnetite Gray Metallic was in transit, it had the options that I wanted and some additional accessories that I hadn’t included in my build your own quote. The price on the bulls your own was lower than the price of this vehicle and Sech was able to grant me $1,005 off the MSRP of $ 44332.00. I reached out and he’d told me that it should be arriving by the 27th of the month but a few hours later it had arrived. I let him know that I definitely wanted the vehicle and asked that he send me a full breakdown of the costs. I let him know that I had a trade and received an offer of 14k on it. He advised me that he wouldn’t be able to match that offer which was fine. I asked if there was a way to speed the buying process and he gave me pointers. I let him know that my financing was secured and asked if the car would be ready to be picked up on 2/12. He assured me that it would. On 2/12 upon arrival at the dealership we were greeted by salesman Tony Richardson. We were immediately offered drinks and snacks. He informed me the car was all ready for me and brought it round the front. He gave me the keys, we put the kids seats in and took a test drive (without the salesman) Upon returning we went to talk numbers and I was very happy that nothing had changed from the offer I’d received via email to the moment I was sitting in the office to sign the offer. Next step was financing. Emad was great. Of course I’d already secured financing so with the exception of being offered prepaid maintenance & extended warranty packages in which I declined it went off without a hitch. I’m happy to say I drove off in my brand new 2022 Subaru Ascent Limited. It’s my first Subaru and I’m looking forward to all the adventures to come! Today, 1/5/21, I left my third message to schedule service. No response. Is this location still open. My first two calls I left a message for Kim, who was identified as the Director of communicatio service. No response. Is this location still open. Then I tried to communicate with Subaru USA. Their email system is designed to reject all but the most desperate customer. The final roadblock was they required the 17 digit VIN number.
