I made sure to repeat myself several times to the gentleman that I spoke with letting him know that I would need a "rental vehicle" while mine is in for warranty work. 06/13/18, I received a phone call telling me that they are "too busy" and would not be able to look at my vehicle on Friday. I asked how long they were talking and they stated that they would need my car for a week or so. I said so if I drop it off are you going to provide me a vehicle for a week or so? He then states that all rentals are currently loaned out and that they had walk in appointments that they took in front of the one I scheduled over a week ago. Needless to say I am going to take my vehicle elsewhere. As a first time Volkswagen owner, I have never had this kind of issue with a Chevy dealership. EVER. He didn't apologize, he didn't try to make it right, just said "ok". Very disappointed in the service, or lack there of. Update 07/09/2018: The general manager Tony, sent me a message on 6/22/18 asking me to call him. I called and left a message, he returned my message 2 days later. I explained to him what happened and he apologized and asked me to bring the vehicle in the following Monday 07/02/18 and that he would have them look at the vehicle. I dropped the vehicle off at 9:45am. The service writer informed me that there was no rental cars available so they would call enterprise. I informed her I had to go back to work. I waited until 10:45am for enterprise to show up. They pick me up and I then sit at enterprises waiting room while they helped 4 more people in front of me. Once it was my turn I am told I need $50 on a credit card. Well unfortunately for me, I had given my son my credit card that day for gas and no one told me I would need to do this. I called Tony, at this point irate, and told him to send someone back to get me and I would take my car. He states they would get me into a rental car. At 11:45 I finally was in a rental car. Thursday 07/05/18 comes around and I still have not heard anything so I call. They can’t “duplicate” the problem for the vibration in the steering wheel and the seat belt light is a “known problem and I should just plug my seat belt in” seeing how this vehicle is a 2017 I should NOT have to do that?! I asked if my oil had been changed and she stated it had already been done. Told her I would be by the following day and if needed I could duplicate the vibration. After further consideration I decided I just wanted my car back. This whole experience was a disaster. I went Friday morning about 9:45am to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, my car was backed into a parking space. However, she sent another guy back to get my keys and within 5 mins my car was on another “test drive”? Seems to me the oil wasn’t changed. She asked if I could wait. Informed her no, I had to get to work and they already cost me 2 hours of work Monday. She states they will bring the car to me. I told her I need to leave my work no later than 5pm. She wrote down to have car at my office at 5pm. I stated, no, I need to LEAVE at 5. It needs to be there no later than 4:45. At approximately 4:15 she calls for payment for my oil change. I informed her I was swamped at work, asked if my car was on the way, she stated it was and told her I would call when I left work. My car showed up at 5:10pm. Again, needed to leave by 5! At 5:15 she calls again. I informed her I JUST got my car and literally just walked out of my office. I paid for my oil change. You would think with all the nonsense this dealership put me through, the amount of time I lost at work making money, and everything else they would at least offer an oil change. Nope, instead I get called not once but twice for the payment. Gave them a second chance and again was let down. More

Great experience with the Service Department/Stephanie I was 300 miles away from home when my car broke down. I called Fairfield Volkswagen Dealership for help. When I explained that I was from out of to I was 300 miles away from home when my car broke down. I called Fairfield Volkswagen Dealership for help. When I explained that I was from out of town and that my car broke down, they told me to come in with the car. I was so nervous. When I got there I met Stephanie Pippen. She is a very, very good person. I was not the easiest person to deal with because I was so nervous and I know I did not have a lot of money. She was patient, and understanding, kept me informed step by step. Then after I calmed down a little I remembered I had a warranty on repairs. It was fixed for me and it did not cost me a thing. Everyone should have a Stephanie come into their lives. I'm so glad God found favor with me and let me have this amazing experience with the Fairfield Volkswagen Service Department. Thanks More
