"Bad workmanship "

I’m usually very loyal to a product or business but I have to put Family Dodge, Ram and Jeep in the automall On blast. I received a notice of a recall for my Ram pick up in regards to a fuel tank strap that had to be replaced. I figure no problem. WRONG!!! So I call Monday June 18 to schedule an appointment. I was told the part has to be ordered. I respond no problem. I receive a call that Wednesday saying the part is in and I am scheduled for Monday, June 25 at 9:00 am. This is were it begins to spiral downhill. Just to note I have had problems with the service department before for instance leaving my oil cap off after and oil change and being misdiagnosed on several other issues. Anyway so I get there early around 8:25 am and wait in line until I get to the service desk. I am met by a woman and was told that me being early messes up the line. I response “well I’m coming from northeast Philly and I95 is unpredictable. I was asked how much fuel is in the truck and I say about half a tank. I am told that it’s too much and that I should have known there should be less then a quarter tank. I respond where is that written and show her the letter where it states nothing of the sort. Then I’m told I have to leave the truck over night. Again I am not told this. I ask for a rental and am told they would not do that. (This turns in to another comedy of errors). I get a rental and get home and to work. I get a call late Monday night saying the truck is ready. I can’t leave work to get it so I tell them I’ll pick it up on Tuesday. I get down to Family Dodge and pay $25 for them to fix a flat on one of my tires. It’s funny I didn’t get a tire pressure message until I was in their lot but no biggie. I am on the way up 95 when I notice the engine light is on. I’m like xxx. I figure something else is wrong and call my mechanic. I drop my truck off at my mechanic and a few hours later I get a call saying that (wait for it). The solenoid wasn’t connected and the lines were not in the holders. Quality workmanship or what? The charge is going to be $120. I figure that this shouldn’t come out of my pocket and I call the dealership. I get on the line with their parts and service manager Ken. He tells me I should have called them right away and should not have had my mechanic fix it and bring it back down to them so they can fix it. Now feeling a little heated I say well if I had any faith in you to begin with I would have. But since you couldn’t do the job right the first time I should give you a second shot? It goes back and forth and gets heated. I ask if he would like me to meet him face to face and we can resolve this. He says that if that happens it doesn’t work end well. I said how right you are. So bringing this to an end I will never by another vehicle from Family Dodge. Between myself, wife, father and kids we have purchased at least 15 vehicles from them.

"Best experience "

Me and my boyfriend leased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee this past weekend and we could not be any happier! The service that we received from Tim was absolutely amazing. We have been struggling hard for two years with another car but that is all over now. Tim listened to everything that we had to say and he made sure that he placed us in something that we could be happy and proud of. I would recommend him for anyone that is looking to finance or lease.

"Careles service. "

Had my truck in for oil change care rotation and DTF fluid filled up. I was told 1 to 1/2/ hour service I waited 4 hours before completion of the work with Mr Cruz totally unconcerned of my request of an update. He kept saying that this is the way things are there. The truck had no DTF filled and I has to bring it back once buying the fluid myself and have one of the service gentleman ( Mr Alan, a real asset for the company based on his kindness and commitment to service) to complete the job. I left again and the tired were not inflated. I came back and I had them inflated. I just discovered that they never rotated the tired. This place is totally unfriendly with customers and treat people without concern and respect. Of note, Mr. Alan, Vietnamese American diesel engine service gentleman, was of great help and very pleasant. He might be the only reason I would ever come back to this place and I will not purchase my next vehicle here. You have good people there, but reconsider to get rid of the bad ones.

"A week of xxxx.."

I want there on 12-1-17 I told them the problem I was having with my brakes,Benjamin Cruz told me I needed a battery and that was all.How did they go from my brakes to my battery I'll never understand,anyway I got it.That same night my brake light came on.So I had to go back on the 8th to get my brakes done.When my van was done I noticed they had sideswiped my mirror.So I asked to speak with a manager.John B.that's what he said his name was told me it was my fault because it was a public parking lot.They never have to worry about me again.The service was so poor.After spending almost $1000.00 with in one week with them &to had my car hit was enough for me..

"Service center incompetence "

So I dropped off my car for an 11am appointment to get a mirror fixed. I sat right in front of the service desk for nearly 4 hrs and finally got up to ask for a time estimate for completion. The guys at the service desk ask me who I saw? I said I don’t know - I pulled up some guy asked me what’s wrong, I told him and he gave me a ticket and told me to have a seat. So that’s what I did. They said oh you were supposed to register with us. I said not one of you were here at your desk when I walked in. I never been here before so how am I supposed to know your process? I explained to the guy out front what was wrong. I didn’t know I had to tell everyone at the dealership. There should be one intake point. Ridiculous. So I am frustrated at this point sitting around that place all day and the service desk guy tells me to calm down. Bc me upset will get him upset and two of us upset won’t be pretty. I told him he best not get upset then and that he’s wrong. They need to have a clear system in pnace and communicate with ppl as they come thru. Certainly u see someone sitting in front of u for for 3.5 hours, check on them! So they do up the paperwork and come back 30 mins later to tell me they need to order the part. I said I waited all week bc u guys had to order and wait for the part. I asked how long does it take to get parts they said like one day but we can’t put it on till end of week. What a mess. So service guy asked if I want to order the part and come back and I said absolutely no way. I will go somewhere else. What a nightmare.

"They are a bad dealership "

This dealership have poor customer service and they cars need work on them. They lie about fixing your car and also they sided swiped my car while in their possession. They give you the run around about your car. I recommend you not to buy anything from these people, THEY SUCK!!!

"Don't get your car serviced! "

Please don't take your car to this dealership! The employees steal systems out of your hard owned car! They run you in circles when it's time to take care of the problem! Everyone seems to not know anything about your car! They only kno how to ask for money! Workers can't be trusted! They steal ya radios and amps and run all threw your cars! It's not safe! The service manager is totally unprofessional!!

"Absolutely horrendous "

They sold me a terrible vehicle, after 12 months of owning the van the engine completely died. I always had regular oil changes and had just changed the filters. The van only had 56,000 miles when it became completely useless. The van was broken into, on their lot windows smashed tires slashed, on their property. They did nothing about it, and treated us terribly! DO NOT BUY HERE! Learn from my mistake.

"vehicle broken into "

so my vehicle went down to family dodge for some recall work and was broken into. My radio and speakers were stolen along with some miscelaneous items. The dealership fixed my window that's it. After i was told that any out of pocket expenses would be taken care of. when it came down to it those were all lies and i was told by the dealership that they weren't responsible. low and behold i will be pursuing this matter in court as a decorated army sergeant i find that this type of treatment is reprehensible considering the fact that it looks like it was an inside job.
