Used car purchase We found the perfect vehicle at a price within the Kelly Blue Book value, even though it was on the high end of the range. The service that was listed We found the perfect vehicle at a price within the Kelly Blue Book value, even though it was on the high end of the range. The service that was listed on the car fax history wasn’t 100% accurate because the oil was leaking from either an old seal or loose nut, and the turn signal out was from a faulty ground wire and not a bulb burned out. We asked to have the rear view mirror replaced because the existing one lost most of the silver, and the manager said they would charge $250 to install a $25 mirror! I understand a used car isn’t in perfect condition, but if you’re paying the retail value I would expect the car to meet safety standards and be inspected before it leaves the lot. The repairs we asked for were completed, and we picked the vehicle up the next day (only because we couldn’t wait three days and pressed the issue) The manager expected us to make payment and sign paperwork BEFORE the work was done, and this was the only time in the 5 hours we spent in the showroom did Steve even come over to talk to us. Because the vehicle was the right one for us, we endured the aggravation. It was our daughters first car. The finance rep was a great experience though. He knew what he was doing and explained everything thoroughly. I won’t deal with this Faulkner location in the future, nor would I recommend them. More
