However, it was Chris who, as the General Mgr., was the deciding factor, so I wanted to deal with him primarily. He was fair, but firm- I am a very tough, experienced, but discerning customer. The vehicle I was looking at was a 2018 S60 and it was fully loaded, but the last of it's kind before the new 2019 model comes out. It also was the rare color combo i desired- Grey ext. and Beige int.. I'd been all over the East Coast and also this is my 12th Volvo , owned or leased since 2006- I know love this brand. Simply put, Chris was fair an dbalanced and after a bit of negotiating, we settled on a price that no one else could match anywhere and the deal was done. Bryan assisted me with the paper work an deven drove out to my place an hour away and switched the new for the old which was a great convenience for me. He was super friendly and also had an extensive background as a mechanic. I appreciated his effort and honesty. I am used to New Jersey Volvo dealers- mostly independent rather than large family-owned dealerships, but i must say, for a large dealership like Faulkner that sells a variety, they have a bright future with Volvo. They were more than competitive and I was impressed that they had this particular model in stock. One thing that impressed me about Chris was that he supports veterans because of a friend in HS-we spoke briefly about that- a very nice personal touch. He also has more than 10 years of experience with Toyota and moved to Volvo. Experience in this business is a huge aspect of both understanding vehicles, service, quality, etc.- I could tell he knew his stuff. Thank you guys, for helping me with this decision. The car is awesome and I'm looking forward to coming back if you can make my GF happy to purchase a new XC40 Inscription and get a decent deal- i know they're rare and hard to get, but I have confidence you'll appreciate me as a repeat customer. Top notch service I took my XC70 for a new weatherstrip around the door. It was done in an hour. My door finally shuts properly!!
