So I was working with a sales person by the name of David and a finance manager by Howard. I want everyone to know how my experience went. They quoted me a price on a vehicle and I had an employee discount a and a finance manager by Howard. I want everyone to know how my experience went. They quoted me a price on a vehicle and I had an employee discount and a conquest lease discount. They made me go through the entire process and even run my credit until they tried to tell me that the finance didn't go through because my wife and my address were different. We just got married and even if our addresses don't match it shouldn't matter since im cosigning for her and my credit is excellent. They told me I have to pay 45 dollars more a month just because of an "address difference" and they tried to blame it on GM financial. Howard then told me to call GM financial and get the info from them and explain my situation. I work for GM so I called GM Financial and they couldn't even find my application on file. They then sent me to the funding department because the application goes through them before reaching GM Financial and again they found nothing on file under me or my wife's SSN. I called back and they said they could do the deal without the conquest deal..... what kinda dealer says they can't do a deal and they only way they can do it is if they take out a discount. I have multiple texts if David trying to tell me I can't get the conquest deal and I provided him every piece of evidence he asked for. This is a shady dealership and I just want people to know to ask these questions before running your credit because your credit score does drop when they run it. Also I went to a different dealership and did the exact same file run and it went through with no problems about "address differences". Be careful because this was very shady and they were surprised on how furious I was after wasting 48 hours of my life and dropping my credit score. More
