I had negotiated price by phone. I also commented I had a KBB instant cash offer of $1700 for my 2010 Equinox which at the time seemed like no problem. Before coming in I asked for a link to the particular vehicle, and a link was sent. I decided to come to the dealership , down payment check in hand driving my trade in. I should have picked up that the link was wrong when the VIN came up for getting my car insurance. First the trade in was $750 (KBB quote request had pictures of the rust) and then we did not find out that the vehicle was a demonstrator with 5K miles until we were in the finance paperwork. My wife loved the car so I was boxed in so I completed the deal. I should have known better as I walked away from another deal from another Feldman dealer helping my daughter shop for a new vehicle. I leased a Silverado and the right headlight assembly doesn’t work. The dealer said GM approved the fix but has no stock. I know as an GM employee that safety is first priority.
