So, i came in about 6 months ago looking to buy a used Chevrolet volt. I came in knowing everything about the car, Anthony didn't have to sell me the car, he had to sell me the deal. The problem comes into play on two fronts. On one hand, i have a dealer that somehow has managed to put 7k more miles on the car than they had it listed for. And on the other i have a very nice sales rep that is capable of including things in the deal. When i inquire about an extension on the warranty, and you say "we can include that in the deal" I expect that when you come back with the new deal, that you're tossing it in for free. See, we had been chipping away at the price as i had pointed out issues with the mileage on the car and mentioning other options from their nearest competitors. So, they come back with their new price, which is a fair ammount less than we were discussing and i was ready to pull the trigger. But, being the smart shopper i am, i wanted to sleep on it. They were so sure that they had the sale that they rented it out to me for the day, which, was a nice gesture. So all fine and dandy? Nope. I go home and look everything over, and notice a rather large dealer fee at the bottom of the quote, far away from the actual base sale price. It wasn't specific, and when i came back the next day, I was informed that the charge was for the warranty that i wanted. So yeah, they just tacked that on in the end there and "included it" in the deal. Real slick guys. When i made it clear that we weren't going though with this deal, despite my credit already being checked. Randy Norris made the comment in the title there. "Most people come into a dealership ready to buy". Yeah, i can tell, you guys are used to some real suckers. I decided to go an take a look at the other offers around (car gurus is an awesome site). Do you guys know what nailed the coffin for your deal? The fact that you had my potential trade in car parked as far back in the lot as you could manage. There was no offer to retrieve my car for me. I was handed my key and pointed in the direction. Al serra didnt fuss with me so much when i went to visit them. Guess who got your sale two days later. More

Very quick response time. At the delearship everyone was friendly and willing to help one another. My original salesman was tied up when I arrived, and another one stepped up big time for him. The finance group was also very easy to work with, and low pressure. More

Not only has this dealership lost a valued customer, they are doing business unfairly and unjustly, so if you are thinking about leasing or financing from this dealership, do yourself a favor and go to a more honest dealership that won't put you in a big financial loss like I suffered, More

I decided to lease a new vehicle, but had to wait FIVE hours for my new car. I was told several times that the vehicle would be ready in "45 minutes" but yet I continued to wait. All in all I was at the dealer from 1PM-6PM. That's simply unacceptable. Secondly, while negotiating the deal...I was able to get the car for $420 but was originally quoted at $550+. If you can give me the car at that lower price, why not offer it to me first? This dealership tactic of "Oh let me go talk to my manager to see what I can do for you" is extremely shady in this day and age, especially when the GM site itself can give me a range in price for a new lease. This is stressful and only adds unnecessary time and tension to the process. I came to you looking for an idea on price and had to jump through several hoops to get it. Cut the crap and move to a customer-first model. My experience walking into the dealership was also bad. I walked in and no one approached me. A lot of the salesmen were talking amongst each other and no one noticed I was there. I stood at the front desk for over two minutes before someone begrudgingly asked me if I was being helped (they looked shocked that I was standing there). Lastly, I wasn't given complete information about my vehicle. I was never told that my Traverse had an auto engine stop "feature." After I drove off the lot, I was left wondering if something was wrong with the car because it kept turning off at stop lights. I CAN'T STAND this "feature" because it makes pulling out into traffic more difficult and it's tedious and annoying in stop-and-go traffic. Had I known this was on my vehicle, I would've never leased it. I followed-up with the dealer and was given instructions on how to "disable" it (shift to L and hit the shifter 9 times) but that's more like a hack (and is rather annoying to have to do EVERY time I drive). I'm just not happy. I'm left with a vehicle I no longer want and the overall experience was enough for me to never recommend this place to anyone. Needless to say, I won't be back. I've had much better experiences at Lafontaine dealers. It's honestly like a whole new world there. More
