I was in and out in the same day I picked my vehicle. I test drove it. The salesman went over all the details. The credit manager went over all the documents. William (Roy) Simpson was my salesperson. When I bought the vehicle, the experience was good. The truck didn’t have a trailer brake on it and I didn’t realize that until after I brought it When I bought the vehicle, the experience was good. The truck didn’t have a trailer brake on it and I didn’t realize that until after I brought it home and Roy knew that I only purchased this truck because I bought a larger camper than I had. The trailer brake was $341 and I thought that they should take care of it and retold Roy that. When picking up my truck from service today, I was charged for the brake. Roy told me that “If it wasn’t on the invoice, there’s nothing he can do about it.” I let Roy know that I hadn’t filled out the Satisfaction Survey yet and again, Roy said that there was nothing that could be done. The Service Manager heard the interaction between Roy and myself and brought the invoice into the sales area and came back out and told me that it was taken care of. I thanked him and Deborah (the Service person that took care of me). Then Roy comes from the sales area saying “I’m mad! There, your $341 has been taken care of. And you’re affecting my kids if you don’t give me “Highly Satisfied”, to which I just said “Ok and Thank You.” My son and daughter both have Chevrolet leases up within the next year. I was going to send them to Roy, but not anymore. I have been a Regional Director for almost 15 years and a $300 difference in my industry would have been insignificant - Especially with my history with GM and 2 potential customers in my adult children that can make their own decisions. I bought a new Cavalier when I was 19 and then a Z24 in 1994 then left because of poor service in 1998 when I was 28. It took 23 years to come back and I loved my 2021 Z71 Silverado and purchased the lease in November, 2023 and had no plans of trading it in until now. Roy was persistent and got me to trade it in for almost a $300 increase in my monthly payment only to be treated poorly by Roy for a $341 service for the trailer brake. Deborah in Service took great care of me along with the Service Manager (Didn’t get his name, but had darker hair and a beard). More
This dealership requires you make an appointment which is certainly understandable. However when you make an appointment don't expect that to mean anything. I was scheduled for a 745 oil change and tire rotation. At 900 I asked if there was some sort of hold up and was told it would be right out. At 920 my vehicle was finally returned to me. There was no indication during the entirety of the hour and 35 minute service what was taking so long. I was told after complaining that they had some staffing challenges. What would have been helpful would have been a reasonable estimation of completion time. Demanding an appointment and then taking 3 to 4 times longer than necessary with no communication is abhorrent customer service. One would think that the least the company would do would be to run the vehicle through the onsite car wash but even that wasn't done. All in all poor customer service. More
